You have to try this place!! The smoked chicken, brisket, ribs!! Everything was soooo delicious. The owner's are great. Couldn't get those secret ingredients out of them but I do recommend everyone try it !!!
This place has really good BBQ. The couple that own it are as nice as can be. They only take cash payment which is a slight inconvenience but worth it and shouldn't be an issue. The only thing that is a proper is that besides Sunday, you never know when their open.

When is the last time you ate a meal that was a spiritual experience? The Apostle Paul wrote, "whether you eat or drink. . . do all to the glory of God." Listen, I'm not some kind of religious nut or something, but this food was on another level. I got a half rib plate to go, and as soon as I opened the box in my truck, I found myself offering a heartfelt prayer of thanks! No doubt I ate this meal to the glory of God! Man did I enjoy it!The ribs were cooked to near-perfection. They were just the right temperature, and just the right amount of smoke, and were falling off the bone good. And the sides...oh man, the sides were just like my granny used to make. I had the green beans and baked beans today.When you come here, come hungry. You'll find a no-frills space with amazing food and true Southern hospitality from the owners.I'm so glad to have some legit barbecue closer to home so I don't have to drive to Nashville or fire up my own smoker.My only regret is that I didn't take a picture for you before I started eating!
called in at the last minute for a full slab of bbq ribs, Mac n cheese, potato salad to go. I was very impressed with the accommodation at the last minute and the flavor of those ribs had my taste buds going nuts!! I came from a family of southern cooks that had there own restaurants and let me just say, Peoples bbq is legit southern taste at it's best!! They did Not disappoint. I pray nothing but success for them.
We ate there on Friday Aug. 20th. There were 8 of us and each and everyone of us had the best experience. I had the ribs and they were probably the best I have ever eaten. Our daughter and SIL had the brisket and ribs, our granddaughters had the chicken and catfish. There wasn't much conversation after the food arrived! If you have ever passed by People's like I have a dozen times and ever wondered if it was any good, I can tell you that YES it is DELICIOUS! Next time stop and treat yourself to some finger lickin' food!
This is the best BBQ I've ever had in my life, hands down! I hosted a party of 50 people over the weekend and had 14 pounds of Peoples BBQ. Everyone at the party asked where I got the BBQ from and said it was incredible! Thank you Tim and Sandy for the wonderful food! We are huge fans and will be back again and again.
