I wasn’t going to leave a review but after I found a chicken bone and my husband found a piece of a chopstick in our food, I changed my mind. After I paid for my order I checked it and it had two boxes of the chicken we had ordered but only one small box of rice. When I went to ask for another rice I was told they were combined and put in a small box, this made no sense to me. I didn’t take it any further and left. When we finally opened the boxes to eat, our meal was wrong. We had ordered General Tso’s Chicken and were given Sweet and Sour Chicken. The food was edible and we were traveling so we didn’t bother to go back just decided we won’t ever stop there again. After I found a chicken bone in my dinner and my husband found a piece of a chopstick in his meal, I decided to leave a review. I know things happen but this was just one too many things for me and felt it needed to be disclosed. The piece of the chopstick was sharp at the end and could have potentially caused a bowel perforation, they need to be more careful and sanitary. The amount of rice was small and we definitely got ripped off there too. I would suggest trying another place for Chinese if you are in the area.
Great little Chinese place! There’s no buffet but the dishes are good and portion sizes perfect. We had the Sesame Chicken and Szechuan Beef and devoured both with no complaints! The egg rolls were top notch along with the soup. I was glad to see traditional fried rice instead of the that yellow stuff so many places are doing these days! All in all, an excellent choice for Chinese.
Great food Great Experience & clean Restaurant
It was so nice to come and dine at an actual casual dining Chinese restaurant. These are so few and far between nowadays that I had to come here. I ordered the black pepper chicken and it was delicious, the wonton soup that came with it was another highlight to my dining experience. I would say that both were probably the best I've had in a very long time. Everything I had was fantastic, the only real complaint I have is that when they serve you fried rice as a part of your entree, it's not really fried rice. There's no egg or vegetable in it, just soy sauce fried rice. You can order vegetable fried rice or any other form of fried rice as a meal just not with your entree. Despite that the food was fantastic minus the bland fried rice that I received.
When we entered Peking Chinese Restaurant we were immediately seated and waited on by our server. We got our orders promptly and the food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Prices are still reasonable considering how much inflation has caused food prices to increase. We highly recommend Peking for authentic Chinese cuisine and great service at a good value. Thanks.
The ONLY reason it's getting 3 stars is the food was great, the price is great, the service was GREAT, the only flaw is not being able to substitute noodles for rice, it should be allowed, I would've even paid an up charge no issue. But those should DEFINITELY be an option ALWAYS. Hospitality goes a long way ESPECIALLY in the food industry.
first time there. soup only. was vrry good.looked around, looked very nice menue.
It's was a fantastic meal for us and I will always be coming back to eat and celebrate the holidays and thank you for everything about your restaurant
I ate there twice. Never again. Both times I ordered chicken lo mein and shrimp lo mein dinners. Both times I got food poisoning. I called and told the manager - they didn't care. Reported them to Health Dept, but they're still open. Eat there at your own risk. There's other safer Chinese restaurants in town. Go to those.
NOT A BUFFET. Top photo shows a buffet, they are not currently operating a buffet. I Googled for a buffet then drove 40 minutes without questioning those results. Not Pekings fault really, not sure the city is even allowing them right now... but very pertinent information.Food was good. Service was great. Prices were a little higher than I'd like.
