Make no mistake, the food here is great! It's fresh and delicious. The staff is great and you can't be that friendly unless you work for a fantastic owner. I would give this place 10 stars if i could.Edit: Came in on 7/7/22 and the atmosphere was different. The unoccupied tables were wet or dirty. I found one table and chair up against the fire extinguisher. It wasn't comfortable but it worked. Unfortunately, I bit into a twig or stick. Other than that, food was still great.

I was stuck at Honda Nation waiting on my vehicle while passing through town. I ordered the chicken salad. It was awesome. It so fresh and exploding with flavor. Large portion of chicken too. I should have taken a pic before I started.
Amazing food. We had the salad, a plate, and a kids meal. For my plate, I did half chicken and half veggie. Everything was tasty. Highly recommend this place.
The fact that Yassin's doesn't have a huge menu is besides the point: once you find a favorite (mine is spicy falafel sandwich) you'll always want to indulge in this comfort food home- away- from- home. If you're wondering if it lives up to the "nicest place in America" hype, well I'll say that this is what I think a lunch counter wants to be, used to be. Meet your friend here. Discuss the world, knowing that Yassin's is a place where everyone is welcome, but hate is left at the door. Love and acceptance has its place here, as surely as the lemon- cucumber water and the to-die-for dessert.
Yassin’s has some of the most flavorful middle eastern food I’ve had. Everything is freshly made and prepared to order. The portions are generous and staff is friendly.The gyro meat is shaved right off the spit. Plenty of baba ganoush, garlic sauce, and tahini are served with your food. Also, there is baklava which is a perfect way to end the meal.We were very pleased with our experience and appreciate the restaurant’s inclusive attitude. ❤️
I love ethnic food, and I'm not sure why I haven't tried this place sooner, especially since I live so close to the w. Knoxville location. I guess blame in on the pandemic for disrupting my schedule! Anyway, today I was sick of eating my own cooking and the reviews here were fantastic. I decided to give it a try. I ordered the gyro plate with extra tzatzki sauce...which I just love. I did not make a sandwich out of it with the freshest pita I have ever had in a restaurant. Instead I made it as a meal, since rice comes with it, and I had the pita on the side. It seems a bit pricey at $12---but I will easily get two meals out of it. The food was delicious. I don't like things too spicy and the regular was perfect. All in all, this was a perfect meal pick-me-up on a warm, gloomy late December day. I so highly recommend.
Wow. I love it here. The falafel and sharwma are so good. I've gotten both a plate and a pita and both were so good. Flavors are on point, customer service is fantastic, food is fresh and delicious. What more can you ask for! I can't wait to go again.
