Honestly food was mouth-watering delicious and I have no complaints about quality or service! Loved it all! One thing though…I do feel like I can get the same quality hibachi chicken at Fuji down the street (literally) for half the price. But the cuts of steak are better at Wasabi and you get to experience the spectacular show. Bravo ? !

A really good dining experience! My wife and I are pretty new to the area, and we've been slowly trying new places (to us) to eat and I would definitely recommend this spot. Food was really good, and quicker than I expected especially for such a busy place. I would give it a 4.5 if I could, I really dont have anything negative to say. Here's some pics of the food, take a look and see for yourself!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. The food was amazing! "H" is an excellent chef! Not a huge "stage show" like some other hibachi chefs but he can definitely cook! Sushi was phenomenal as well!

I wish I had checked the reviews before we went. Me and my family decided to meet at the Wasabi on Lovell Rd. and everyone commented how filthy the place was. After we saw the floor and tables inside the front of the restaurant, how bad could the kitchen be. The health department needs to investigate. I will not return to this locations.

Absolutely delicious food. Unfortunately it was only me and my husband at the grill, but the chef still made it worthwhile. It was more expensive than we though, but there was so much food we had leftovers for the next day. Luckily they were open for Easter!

Samurai Dinner was delicious, came with Ribeye, shrimp, & chicken, and of course fried rice and a choice of carrots. And the hibachi chef’s do some cool tricks if you choose the grille like I did, overall I am extremely happy with Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse as a whole, and I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way about this Hibachi Grille.?

Was very good food. Waitress was very good. Cook messed up my order and wasn't very entertaining as we use to at other places . Very loud in place too. Jus different

The only positive of the night was the food. The service was poor, not engaging, not friendly. We walked into the restaurant and were greeted: “how many?” I said “3” and she said, “Are you all here?”And the service just got worse. The sushi chef was good but not engaging much. He did make good food. They brought to-go boxes while we were still eating. The bus boy came and started to clear dishes and didn’t ask me if I was done and took my drink, my plate. I even said to him “hello?” And he just kept talking stuff.Stood in front of owner for 3 mi it’s waiting on my colleague to come out from bathroom and he never asked us how was our meal or said anything. The to-go boxes were cheap, thin styrofoam. No good to-go boxes.

Nice place to be honest. The sushi was some of the best I've had in Tennessee. Chicken udon was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be visiting here next time I'm in town.

Hibachi steak and chicken was OK...fatty steak. Hostess was rude and soup and salad came out at same time that hibachi was almost cooked (poor staging of courses). Waitress and chef did their best to make you feel comfortable but was hard to do as the hostess was pushing them to hurry up too...sushi served AFTER meal but was excellent. Hostess literally threw our checks at us 5 minutes into meal...never asked if we wanted refills or dessert not that we felt welcome to stay anyhow.
