Excellent food and excellent service at a great price, despite being quite busy.
Waffle house is a southern interstate necessity. Come have the All-Star as you listen to local gossip being spread out like hash browns on a plate. Most do not need a menu as they already have their favorite entree in mind before even pulling up, so don't be offended if they ask you what you want before seeing the menus. Come here to feel the warm buttery, syrup enveloped happiness needed from a long days travel.
Always has been my favorite waffle house to go too. Our server was very good even tho they was busy. She made sure to keep our drinks topped off and our plates cleared once we was done with them. The cook wasn't the best this time tho. At least half of our party had something over cooked. But they did at least replace it with some better cooked food.
Customer service
Usually pretty good here but today I had the nerve to walk in and ask for my dirty table to be wiped down and got a half swipe with the rag. Then the ten minutes even without coffee was the next gripe we had. Once all the food was delivered my coworker had the nerve to ask where his waffle was. He was told it’s completely normal for you to get the waffle last, little did he know that last meant 15 minutes after you finish your meal. Anyway there is another Waffle House 5 minutes down the road because we won’t be back to this one after the way we were treated.
Prices are amazing and it’s very clean
Waffle House needs to add grits, one egg, two strips of bacon to their $5 menu. Some of us women don't need a whole lot to eat. And some of the homeless in their vehicles waiting to get into a resident. Yes we're working. $9.00 is ridiculous. And the person that took my order had a Karen personality.
JESS!!! The waitress Jess, was the best server. I’ve bartended, all the way to washed dishes. She knows what she’s doing, and she takes care of people. There was an incident where my friend and I were targeted by a predator. He seen us from inside, came to our car, then once we came inside, he continued. We spoke to the manager, she failed to do her job. I should’ve gotten her name. We had to go get security, which all could’ve been avoided, if the manager knew what she was doing.
It was New Years 3rd shift they were so busy but our food was done in a timely manner and was delicious and our waitress was amazing miss Selena but will definitely be back we had a wonderful time
The waffle house is a staple of the area, with plenty of regulars and some passing through travelers. The menu and service always delivers, coffee refills are are fast and plentiful, so you won't go thirsty.
