Tupelo Honey is one of my family's favorite places. One of the reasons why we love visiting the south. We stop at one whenever we're in town. Our most recent experience was par for the course. It was a Monday night but the place was still buzzing. I've never had a server like we had that night. He never seemed to be around except when we needed. My plate was super basic. I had the white meat bone-in sweet and spicy fried chicken, collard greens, and mac-n-cheese and they were nothing short of perfect. We couldn't ask for a better menu, ambiance, or service. Tupelo Honey is an example of how to run a restaurant. Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Great ambiance. If, you're into that kind of thing :-)

Reservations for 9:30 - no waiting - patio seating area- prompt attention to order - food served quickly and delicious- Shrimp and Grits- Everything Bowl and The Cathead biscuits. Couldnât order Alcohol until 10am - this needs to be more clear on websites- I wouldâve booked a later time
Super loud. The Tables stacked on top of each other and Our service was pitiful. There were 7 of us dining and most of the food was pretty good overall. Overall, not impressed.
Nice seats outside overlooking the square where we were serenaded by a steel drum player. Service was great and the food was very tasty and good. Drinks were creative too. Nice spot to people watch while dining!
We were seated right at our reservation time, server was friendly, and paying by phone was convenient. I enjoyed the divine swine Benedict and my fiancé had the shrimp and grits, neither disappointed. The Bloody Maryâs are always on point.

Being from SC, I was a little skeptical of the fried chicken, however it was top notch. The batter was delicious, seasoned just right and the chicken was moist and not one ounce or dryness. The Mac n cheese tastes like it was very tasteful. The collards were tender and seasoned perfectly as well. Hope to be back soon.
