We absolutely loved eating here, I wish I could give more stars. The food was amazing and the vibe was exactly what I was looking for. We made reservations for downstairs in the Cellar and it had a beautiful Speakeasy type feel! My boyfriend is a Mixologist and we have somewhat of a high standard when it comes to our cocktails, we were highly impressed with the drinks! The staff was wonderful. I would recommend a reservation. We will be back!

Everything about our experience was great. The Ale Steak was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My wife’s mahi-mahi was also excellent. Our service was timely and courteous. Austin was our server and was very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first visit to Copper Cellar. We ate upstairs, not in the Cellar. Our waiter was very professional. I ordered Kim Crawford Illuminate Rose, very good. For my meal I ordered the special, Cajun Mahi Mahi with Poblano cream sauce (I requested sauce on the side), tomato pie and steamed broccoli. Everything on my plate was excellent. The Mahi was so good, it didn’t even need the sauce. The tomato pie was great, I make tomato pie, and this was just as good as mine! The steamed broccoli was nicely cooked. For dessert I ordered Strawberry shortcake, fresh strawberries on a sweet biscuit with Chantilly cream. So good! I’m sorry that I am just visiting in Knoxville and won’t be able to eat here often.

Greeted with a glass of ice water on a very hot day. Food was good and reasonably priced.

We were in Knoxville for the Paul McCartney concert on May 3st This was our first trip to Tennessee, and I knew the restaurants would be very busy on the night of the concert. Luckily, months before this I decided to make a reservation for dinner that evening, I am so glad that I did! The place was packed, as it was very close to the concert venue on the campus of University of Tennessee. It took a while for us to get a menu or water, but we were patient, with the crowd of people there, mostly Beatle fans! I enjoyed the Grilled Ale Chicken, and my husband had the Ale Steak. Both were reasonably priced and delicious. The best part of our experience was our server Hannah. She was very efficient yet very busy. We had a great meal at a wonderful place, and then got to enjoy McCartney for three hours later that evening! Life is good !!

Great everything! We had 6:30pm reservations Down in the Cellar and got right in. I had a fresh fish special, Halibut with green beans and a cup of crab bisque. All very good! The boys had steak and fries, and they loved it! Free Parking is easy, and service is nice. It made our vacation extra special!

A lot of good food for your money. Great wine list!

The restaurant was out of sweet potatoes and calamari. We had a 4pm seating. How are you out of food? The crab fingers were fresh frozen at best and had no flavor and the bone in 28 oz. Steak was 50% fat, 20% bone and the meat you could eat was chewy and gummy. My wife’s stuffed shrimp were so bad she took one bite.

Food was okay. We paid $15.50 for 1 crab cake that a piece of shell in it. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon when it came had no cheese. Another 5 minutes to get that fixed. Asked for bread at first and it never came, asked again and received it after the meal came. Needed more ketchup it took asking twice and then receiving it 10 minutes later.

We enjoy dining at the Cellar. This experience could have been better. My steak was overcooked (I like it Medium Well) and the service was a little slow. The meal was expensive for what you receive.
