Interesting menu and decent taste, but could use more meat in their tacos.

Pathetic. From the $17 “PULPO TATEMADO” — 3 ounces of rubbery octopus festooned with squirt of liquid guacamole and smothered in pickled red onions to the $15 “chicken thigh platter” — two charred thighs with bloody bones on her child size plate heaped with gummy rice and a scoop of canned beans, the entire menu was a disappointment. It’s as if they really hate food. The service was overly solicitous and cheerfully insincere. Spare yourself the misery.

Pretty underwhelming. The atmosphere is fantastic, but the food was lacking for sure. Strange menu items, without having high quality to back it up. Wouldn’t really be interested in going back again.

Not only was my dinner wonderful, the service by personable waitstaff and the atmosphere made my experience at Tako Taco was amazing.

Underwhelmed and no distinct flavor in Quesatacos- didn’t pick up mushroom or caramelized onion flavors and definitely not crunchy. Expensive for the portion size.

Definitely paying for the atmosphere, not the food. The "Ribeye taco" meat is fried...to death...and has the texture and flavor of gravel. My husband and I swapped them out for got pork tacos, wich left us both nausious. The place is cute, the menu desperately needs a revamp.

A relatively small menu offering several dishes that included local products. I enjoyed the vegetarian enchiladas.

Underwhelming, completely and totally underwhelming. All the effort went into the vibes of this place and zero effort into the food and flavor. I really wanted to like this place. Hopefully they can improve the food.

An enjoyable experience, but not exactly anything special. Paying for the atmosphere, not the food. Tacos are expensive for how much you receive. I wouldn't object if someone else wanted to eat here with me, but I wouldn't seek it out again on my own.

Here is the best way to define the food. If you are looking for authentic zesty tacos this isnt it. no spanish zing. think more california west coast artsy style tacos. surfer tacos. bland earthy taste. unseasoned meat. not like soccer taco or a taco truck. when you see squid on the menu you know its about to be some earthy stuff. even the beef is flavorless meat hunks. the people were very nice
