We had never visited this restaurant before but wanted to go somewhere to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. I promise you, we couldn't have picked a better restaurant! First of all the party they threw was AMAZING!!!! I have never been somewhere where they give out so many freebies! I am talking free shirts, free hats, maracas, necklaces, and for those of age free shot of tequila!! Oh and they had live music. Secondly, this is 1 of the busiest times of the year for a Mexican restaurant and we had the best service ever!!! Our server was constantly coming by making sure we were good and if he couldn't make it over then they sent someone to check on us. Then let's not forget the food. It was so delicious! Plus, it was served hot and fast. I can't wait to go back!
?....WOW ABSOLUTELY THE BEST STREET TACOS EVER! Staff was fast, friendly, fun, efficient, energetic, engaging, and overall the best staff I have had the pleasure of being around. Super welcoming. Food was incredible!!! And you absolutely must get the large margaritas ?!!!! You will not be disappointed. I will be back solely for this resturant! Love love loved it!!!
Fast, friendly service with a great Mexican food taste.The chips and salsa were fresh tasting and they offered unlimited refills.Despite being busy, my order was taken within a reasonable amount of time and the food was delivered hot and full of flavor.Most surprising was the price of the lunch chimichanga with rice and refried beans. Very affordable. Will definitely be back for another visit.
I wanted to like it. I ordered 3 different street tacos. All the meat was very tender and moist but lacked any flavor. After asking the person that recommended the place what do they usually order they said the drink specials.
First time here. Good atmosphere. good food. lunch specials came out extremely fast. salsa looks made I'm house and is great.
We were originally going to go eat to a different restaurant but my mom convinced us to come here and I’m so picky!!!! And I didn’t not want to try anything new but thank god I listened because this is my new favorite restaurant!The staff is so attentive and nice / and the food is delicious!!!!We also had churros and ice cream and the churros were so warm and crispy. (Filled with Carmel sauce ) ❤️ I love it!!!I would rate this hidden gem a 10 if I could. ❤️✨As a Mexican myself I 100% recommend it!!
Let me try and frame this positively. This is obviously a fun family friendly neighborhood hang. There was a mad of teens in their jerseys dominating half the restaurant. The prices were exceedingly reasonable, 2 for 1 drink specials and sports on the TVs.The food was just ok. Worth what I paid. The margarita was a premix corn syrup nightmare.Long gone is the quiet mom and pop serving authentic Mexican recipes, the menu was simple straightforward tex-mex.Maybe this is your idea of perfect, I was disappointed. Staff was excellent.
The food was delicious. We went around lunch time, speedy service, well portioned in my opinion. Fair prices. Whatever my wife ordered was on point. Like they smoked their own pork.
The best Mexican restaurant in all of Knoxville. Fantastic atmosphere and great service. Order the authentic street tacos, you won't be disappointed.
The only thing that was good was the salsa and chips. Asked if they served green chili and they don't, it's a Mexican restaurant why don't you have green chili?? The chimichangas were nice size but tasted horrible, doubt if any return
