We used to get sandwiches all the time, but for the last month every time we try to go, they’re always closed. Despite their website saying they’re open. We go during their designated operating hours, but they’re always off catering something. Why not hire a few more people so you can keep the store open and cater at the same time? You’re only open for a few hours a few days a week and you’re losing good customers by being closed when your website states that you’re open.
Consistently excellent, great value and amazing sandwich... one of the best, anywhere.
Excellent for catering or a nice lunch. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My favorite sandwich is the chicken bacon ranch!
First time and I will be back for sure:) Italian sandwich was insanely good as was the chicken ranch. Depending on how hungry you are, I would recommend ordering a half sandwich cause it’s a ton of food or 2 people could split a full. I ordered the full and had lunch for the next day. This is for sure my favorite spot for a sandwich in Knoxville, nowhere comes close. Staff was friendly as well which is always a plus. There is lots of indoor/outdoor seating so what more could ya ask for.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life! The bread was so soft and fresh, the ingredients had the perfect balance where the bread wasn’t dry and the meat portions were generous. The staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure our experience was 10/10 and it definitely was! Will be back soon!
Finally made it today to this place for some amazing lunch. Our biggest complaint of Knoxville has been the lack of good sandwich shops, Steamboat nails it. I got the Chipotle Turkey Club and loved it, sauce actually had a nice kick to it. My wife got the King Club and loved it as well. Overall great food, and awesome vibes inside.
I almost gave them four stars just based on business hours, but realized that's only because I wish they were open later so I could go more often. The sandwiches here are next level especially for the price. The hand shaken lemonade is tops. PRO TIP: they offer half/whole sandwiches. The "whole" is two of the buns you see in the case, not half of one. It can be misleading. Get a whole if you want one for later too. Lol
We had the original Steamboat and Turkey and Bacon Chipotle sandwiches. Excellent on their fresh made bread.All the employees were helpful and the place is always clean.
