Finally made my way in for the first time today, I immediately fell in love with the place when I walked in. The environment is wonderful- warm and comforting. Amazing staff of course. I got my partner a cold brew (which they said was amazing) and I bought a few pride items and a shirt which is the best quality/fabric. Will definitely be back when I have time to really explore the place and everything they have to offer. ❤️
They have the best chicken salad sandwich. Order one you want regret it.
Words cannot describe how amazing South Press Coffee shop is. From it's warm and vibrant space to the friendly and hospitable staff, this is a MUST for your visit to Knoxville or if you're local make this a go-to. I personally love all their coffees, baked goods and snacks, as well as their Italian Cream Sodas.South Press is more than a coffee shop. It's a community that cares and looks out for one another. It's a safe place for those to come and hang out, relax, getaway and decompress. It's inclusive of people from all walks of life and backgrounds. You'll feel like you've gained new friends when you leave.
I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The energy in this place comes from more than just the great cup of coffee that they serve! This is one of the most welcoming, inclusive spaces I've ever visited, all are made to feel welcome, comfortable, and truly appreciated (for no other reason than being a human).By the way, they serve an AMAZING coffee made just the way you want it.
Today was my first experience at South Press as my niece needed to use the restroom and we ended up grabbing some amazing lemonade, the lightest and most delicious blueberry donut, and a few other items. The owner was absolutely wonderful and the welcoming feeling once we entered is something that I loved. We didn’t have time to stay but will definitely be back. My daughter and niece talked about this place non stop when we got back to our car.
When moving to a new city the most important thing to do is find an amazing local coffee shop. Pretty sure South Press has got me hooked. Stopped in last weekend for a drink and to check it out. Amazingly friendly staff, best latte I have had, and a bright, colorful welcoming space where when they say ALL are welcome they mean it. Wish they were a little closer to my house, but worth the drive. Will be stopping in next weekend for my birthday to celebrate!
Service was excellent and very friendly but the coffee was all milk. I actually had to stop and get a shot of Espresso to make it taste like coffee.
Great place for the lgbtq community. Love going here. Great people and wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend ?
I finally stopped in today to try a drink. My tea was wonderful and the maple bacon donut is amazing. Everyone at the counter was so nice and welcoming. Will definitely be making more visits.
Jocelyn and James are two angels from heaven. This is the one spot I have ever found that automatically feels like you are home when you step in the door. The coffee is deliciously crafted with care and the pastries are amazing. This is the place everyone needs to have in their life, where you are always welcome and can come exactly as you are, staying until the weight of the world feels a little less heavy.
