I stopped by to pick up some wings to-go for March Madness. I am really glad I did. Easily the best wings I have had in Knoxville. I ordered the Honey Gold (tangy, mustard based bbq sauce), Ranch (dry rub), and Lemon Pepper (dry rub). All were cooked-to-order, tender and juicy on the inside and a crispy, crunch skin. Ranch and Lemon Pepper were my favorite. The staff was amazing as well. I can’t recommend Soul Good enough!
I tried the soul good food truck on 3.23.22 at the UTK campus. My order consisted of 10 HOT wings and a drink with a price of 25.88, tip included. The smell eminating from the truck is heavenly, and my order smelled and tasted incredible. Staff was genuine and extremely pleasant. The owner has nothing to hide (he invited me onto the truck) and I observed a clean and quality environment therein. Expect to wait as they occasionally cook to order to ensure freshness. I will be back, it was overall an excellent experience.

Came for the food. Stayed for the soul. This local downtown eatery delivers ultra-tasty food while serving the community through non-profits on the backend. Check this place out the next time you have a craving for chicken or white fish. ??
Got the Golden Ring Fish Sandwich and it was perfect. Like, seriously, perfectly fried. Not over, not under, perfect. Pretty large sandwich too, so saved the other half for dinner.Also, if you like fried okra, you've got to get it here. Soul Good adds just enough of a touch of salt to them that makes them amazing. Truly the best fried okra I've had. Crispy but not over-cooked.While the food took longer to come out than I expected it to, once it did, I understood why. This is FRESH food. As in, they cooked it all to order, not just pulled it from a warming tray.Soul Good focuses on just a few proteins (fish and chicken) so don't come expecting beef or pork.Beyond the food, the service is fantastic too. Very friendly, helpful and ready to get you fed!Quit thinking about it and just go get some good food here!
Was driving through Knoxville on my way home for Christmas Eve and decided to hit the first restaurant that popped up on google maps. This is a little shop sat next to a barber shop and immediately was greeted when we came in the door and everyone there seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves.I got the honey gold sauce on 6 wings and a side of fries. Everything served was super hot and fresh when it arrived. The wings were crispy and juicy on the inside and the fries were nice and crisp as well. 10/10 would stop here every time on my way through Knoxville.Thank you to the staff of Soul Good. They were open Christmas Eve and everyone there was so friendly and the food was amazing!
This restraunt came highly recommended. I was not disappointed!!! Food quality was superb. Good temperature, great seasoning, mouth watering. Will revisit soon.My only criticism is the size of the menu, a few more choices would be wonderful. But, what is on the menu is superior to any establishment in the area.
