My first time at a Sonic and loved the options, prices and friendliness of employees. The drive through was quick. They even offered my dog a pup cup of whip cream and dog treats - he loved it!!Burger and onion rings were great. Also loved the chicken fingers and tater tots.
A year ago I left a 4 star review, I got my food quickly and there were no problems. Now, a year later, every time I go there is a ridiculously long wait, even when I use the app (which they have little plates everywhere telling you to skip the wait and use the app, if I'm trying to skip the wait, why is the wait tripled?) Every time I use the app, the kiosk shows that a person is on their way, then it shows as delivered and we have to wait another 20+ minutes for FAST food. Don't go to this sonic
The female manager is horrible and rude. The other female worker who was young here was very nice tho and apologized about the manager. Really bad management and I don’t understand how someone so rude became a manager. Fries were cold and asked for fries but half of it was tatter tots which I don’t like. But I made sure to pay my 50 cent including having to make two separate purchases with card for 25 cents because of the annoying manager.
The drive-thru took around 15-20 minutes, which is a bit long. There were two cars ahead of mine, but the food was GREAT! Pro tip, add pickles to the single patty melt.. yum!!
Went i Sonic tonight to grab dinner for my husband and i and our girls. The wait on our food was almost 30 minutes. Only to get the food and it be cold and absolutely disgusting. My onion rings were greasy and burnt to a crisp and black. Chicken tenders had tons of gristle and a hube black spot on one of them. My husband couldn't even eat his burger or tots they were so greasy and cold. Both girls kids meal was disgusting as well. To have waited that amount do time and receive food that bad is horrible! Extremely disappointed!
So doesn't a plain cheeseburger come with cheese? Not sure why I was charged for cheese. This sonic is the worst sonic I ever been too. I had to repeat my order 4 times. And the good coming out was all being sent back because it was wrong.
Still have the red bull dragon fruit slush. Even though it's not on the menu they made it at my request. That's good customer service.
My Girlfriend and I stop at sonic often there are 2 near us this one is closest to home we will drive the 4 extra miles.Here's why the service is horrible there unless you want burgers and sodas. We want shakes with our burgers and this sonic is most times out of ice cream also ordering is a hassle you ask for 2 medium shakes they ask if you ordered 2 medium cups of ice then the burgers you have to repeat 3 times each one and then when they review your order they didn't remove the cups of ice you didn't want. Then at the window they only gave us spoons for the shakes we ask for straws they say sure no problem ask if we want the receipt we say yes they hand us the receipt and say have a nice day and we ask for straws again. We never have had these problems at the other one near my work. They always have ice cream we never have had to ask for straws never had to say our order more then once never waited more than 10 minutes at any time of day.
Their slogan? "Service With the Speed of Sound." Who doesn't love Sonic? I mean, come on?! Drive-thru or drive-in fast food! There's just something nostalgic about driving into a Sonic. The have managed to successfully carry a part of our past into the future ... now only if we can get drive-in theaters back!They have the typical fast food menu offering cheese burgers, both grilled & breaded chicken sandwiches, foot long chili cheese coneys and ... yes ... tater tots! I honestly do not know of ANY other fast food restaurants serving tater tots. Even their ice is popular with their customers, and again, unique to the chain. They'll even sell you a bag if you ask for it.In my opinion, their food is good but aside from their foot long coney, tater tots and MY FAVORITE -- > the Route 44 Cherry Limeade<-- there's not really anything else to write home about.THIS LOCATIONI've eaten here a handful of times and I've only had one problem where the attendant could not hear anything I was saying. A quick pop around to the windows resolved the communication issue but aside from that, maybe a bigger awning cuz if it's raining hard at all you'll get drenched while you sound off your order.The parking lot is very easy to get in and out of but as always, pay extra attention when you drive back onto Chapman Hwy because people fly through there.
Everyone that works there need to have a mandtory hearing test ... They cant seem to hear when taking orders having to repeat myself 4 x b4 they got what i want today
