Poor service. We were third group waiting to be seated. After first two were seated hostess disappeared. She started making salads and taking orders. After 15 minutes past our reservation time with others waiting behind us i informed hostess we were leaving. As we departed she started to seat those behind us. Never try there again
I’m so disappointed with this restaurant. This is the second time we’ve been here and unfortunately the last. This first time was good. Our only complaint would have been the cleanliness of the restaurant. It’s very dirty. This time we ordered the calamari and garlic bread to start which wasn’t bad. My husband ordered the scallops piccata. It wasn’t bad either but for $40.00 for three scallops and some pasta it should be fantastic. Myself and my son ordered the lobster raviolis. The Alfredo sauce was gritty because there was too much grated Parmesan cheese. I couldn’t eat it. The taste wasn’t right at all. My son also took one bite of his ravioli’s and that was it. Our bill was $117.00 and to pay that kind of money and not enjoy everything is very disappointing.
Great Italian restaurant! Best to make reservations!!!!! Had the Mama Savellis chicken, great wine sauce, great flavor! The sampler with a great homemade marinara sauce. Basket of garlic bread. And the lemon Italian cream cake ?, so good!! The sweet tea has fresh mint added to it, the best tea! We would definitely come back!
I don't understand why other people that have left reviews like they're Gordon Ramsay or something special but EVERYTHING we had was Amazing! I had a greek salad & Mama Savelli's chicken with artichokes and sundried tomatoes with white wine sauce. My party shared a bruschetta and the taste of Italy. Everyone enjoyed everything tremendously. Will definitely be back again.
The best Italian I have ever had was totally awesome and Becky was one of the greats thank you. We almost did not come because of the reviews I am so glad we did
Highly recommended restaurant from friends for a true NY Italian experience. Small intimate setting, fabulous service- BYOB. Garlic bread was great Sea bass was nicely done -nicely served with risotto - needed a little more seasoning Veal was good but pasta lacked a robust flavor. Dessert were very good Will return
To say this restaurant was disgusting is an understatement. I went in and sat for about 20 minutes. I ordered the Alfredo which I could make better from a jar. The sauce was watery and curdled at that. The “garlic bread” was toasted and covered in butter and chunks of garlic. I left after staring at the plate they handed me for about 5 minutes. I was like seriously this is what you are giving me for 14 dollars. The server then came out and said oh you’re just leaving. I responded with yeah it was pretty bad. Please if you’re a person with any sense in food, DO NOT even try to eat at this restaurant
Only accepted cash for party of 9 although website indicates credit cards accepted. Table pooled all cash and still one person had to go to a local ATM to withdraw more cash. $27 charge to use a restaurant-supplied corkscrew is outrageous. $455 bill included 20% tip and corkscrew fee and cash only? Ridiculous. No prices listed on the menu and none offered. Bread must be ordered as a separate item with 4 small pieces per order meaning at least 3 separate charges for each person to have one small piece of bread. Ridiculous. Food was good, but not spectacular for the high prices. Enjoyed my group gathering, but probably will not go back nor recommend to others. Better food with less expensive prices and better parking are plentiful in Knoxville. Business practices seem a bit shady. I think servers may be ripping off the owners and customers with upcharges. Owner has replied the restaurant does accept cards. Our server said CASH ONLY and told us where the nearest ATM was at Casey’s down the street. What SPECIALS on the menu warrant the 3 highest charges on the bill?
Very disappointed. Only cash accepted. $27 cork fee for BYOB? Ridiculous. Prices are outrageous for mediocre food. Fazzoli’s and Olive Garden food just as good or better AND superior bargain. Shady business model. Yes, Savelli’s you tricked us once but never again.
We walked out tonight 2/25, a rude hostess, who could not wait to walk away. Topped by a rude server who can only yell not speak. I tried to ask a question “is this your entire menu” the server starts to yell how you have no help and this is your Friday/Saturday menu. Your website certainly shows other dishes that I wanted to try, but no luck, I really was not going to order a meal I don’t want and you don’t even list the price. After yelling at me the server turned raised her hand, and screamed you owe nothing. I truly love Italian, it’s a shame you don’t serve any.
