Good meal. Fresh ingredients. Wasn’t thrilled with the hostess but the wait staff was very good. Eggs and biscuits very good. Outdoor seating area was filthy. Food smashed on the ground next to my table. Speaker over my table was so loud it was impossible to hear the waitress.
Great atmosphere! Had a great breakfast with the family! Everything we ordered was good. Waitresses were very attentive & cheerful!

Finally got to check this place out. This is the first place I've been to where they have a Special Diet menu that includes Keto options. You can find the menu on the website or ask for one there.The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and spacious...tables aren't cramped. They also have outdoor seating.The staff and service was exceptional, even though they are having staffing problems like everywhere else.I had the Florentine Omelet and substituted Chicken Sausage for the mushroom. It was delicious!The sides were very fresh tomatoes and just right ripe avacado...not a single brown spot.I highly recommend Ruby Sunshine and will be going back and telling friends.
SO good! ? Great service, great atmosphere, great menu, great food...All good things!! ?? ? We got the breakfast tacos, avocado toast, banana French toast (bread was a little tough- i think the brioche French toast would've been better) and some benet things with strawberries- which was DELICIOUS! (Drink pictured is a vanilla latte)
BEST BRUNCH IN KNOXVILLE!My partner and I discovered Ruby Sunshine on a recent week-long trip to Knoxville and were instantly hooked…we ended up eating there three times over seven days! The Fried Green Tomato Benedict is absolutely amazing, probably my favorite meal of our entire trip (and there are some excellent eateries in Knoxville so that is really saying something). On the sweet side, the French Toast Bites and Seasonal Beignets are awesome as well. The servers are fun and super helpful, ask for Princeton or “Tater Tot”…there’s a very cool manager from Chicago too but I didn’t get his name. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant…so, SO GOOD!
Terrible experience for the second visit in a row. Waited 30 minutes for an omelette that never showed up. Server was not pleasant. Wasted half my morning when I could’ve had a satisfying breakfast elsewhere.
We looked at all the top places for breakfast in Knoxville and we chose this place for their “bennies.” We got the “trifecta” and “peacemaker” to try 4 different bennies and they were the best we’ve ever had! We came on a Monday at 11 and it was a bit of a wait but for that amazing tasting food, it’s worth it!
