This place has been on the corner for years and I've never eaten there. Wow. I was sure missing out. My bad. It was so good that me and my partner went back the next day to eat again. We had fish and chips both times. I'm gonna try one of those burgers next.
Great atmosphere and strong service. Excellent wings but make sure to request extra done. Local hangout for years and only gets better. Not a large place and gets busy early, like 4:30 pm. Only draw back is it has a smoking and a non-smoking area...the non still has the smoking fill and after taste. Older crowd for sure but good mix.
Ralfiella was great. She is one of the best bartender/waitresses in town. I literally set my drink down after emptying it and when I turned my head she was standing there with another.
Seriously the pizza at this place is THE BEST IN KNOXVILLE.. All the food is amazing and every time I try something new I love it. But the pizza is my favorite.. and the Sara wings ;)
Great place, yes it's a local hang out but the are welcoming to anyone. Wife and I went in to watch the super bowl and had several conversations with the locals food was great and yes it's a smoking bar but they have exhaust system and fans, the smoke never bothered us and they also have a non smoking section with its own bar. Its a fun place and a great setup for everyone.
Food was 3/5. Few of us in our group had undercooked wings. Some had food that you could tell had been sitting in the kitchen for a good bit.Don’t expect great service — it is a bar I guess so it’s expected. Just be sure to yell out whatever you want while the waitress is within like a 5 foot radius of your table cause they just do like drive by requests. They won’t stop. They keep walking.
Roosters is a hoot! Great food for lunch. Fast service at a great price. The Rooster sandwich with a giant piece of fried chicken and wing sauce is my favorite. The fries are divine. Treat yourself to lunch at Roosters!!
No one greeted us at the door. Never been here before so we were confused. It was Super Bowl Sunday I understand the carry out was busy and waitress was unsure if they would be showing the game on every tv. She ended being a very good waitress. First impression was horrible tho. Food wasn't that great. I will leave this place as an option but won't be my first.
Best bar in Knoxville. Great bartenders, great food, great atmosphere. If anyone wanted to assassinate me, I wouldn’t be hard to find. I’ll be at Rooster’s.
