This is perfect for us so now we don't have to share or leave half a delicious meal to be thrown out.If you like Mexican food, you won’t be disappointed here.From 5-8 it’s happy hour and buy one margarita get one for a dollar. (If you are a regular, and running a little late they will stretch happy hour out a bit longer for you!)
Everything I've ever had is delicious. And it's the only Mexican restaurant I've been to where you can substitute your sides for better options so you're not stuck with refried beans and rice. Their charro beans are my favorite.
Many time small, local owned places fade after a few years of being open. This is not the case. They get better! Even on the busiest night, with a line out the door the food is perfect and service is top tier.
I cant wait to try everything on the menu! Look no further, this is where you want to go! The Carne asada is the best I have ever had, sooo much flavor and an excellent cut! The lunch specials always fantastic and the churros are amazing and stuffed with a condensed milk cream!
The grilled fish tacos & shrimp tacos are great. Don’t have the chicken pozole, it is very greasy, very little hominy & very little cabbage. The salsa is too tomatoey. I would go back for the fish tacos. Service is great.
Love this Mexican restaurant. The food is really good! We've had the fajitas, the tacos, the changa, and several other dishes and all of them were great.The servers are quick and helpful. They offer some great specials too.We recently moved to Knoxville and Porton's has become one of our local favorites.
This restaurant has delicious Mexican food, and courteous wait staff! :-) We ordered Chicken Milanesa, Beef Enchiladas, and Beef filled Chile Rellenos, all served with your choice of two sides. Their food portions are very good, and everyone is attentive and friendly. Great place for casual Mexican dining!
Kaylee is such a wonderful waitress and makes us feel so special every time we're there. The food is always great and the drinks are always tasty. And my kids love it there so you can't beat it!
First time eating here, Food was ok! I got some street corn that hardly had any seasoning on it and seemed it wasn't cooked all the way, But if the Mexican restaurant don't have good salsa and queso then nothing is good. The salsa taste like a pizza paste and the queso was very thick and milky. So I truly won't be back to this Mexican location until they fix the salsa!!!
Great authentic Mexican food.small place, that has big flavor. Steak was amazing at this place.service was fast an everyone was very piolet. Food is also reasonably priced. Definitely go!!.
