While on a long drive I found this place on a lucky spin of Google (restaurants near me) & decided to give it a try. That was the absolute best decision I’ve made all year! The food is AMAZING! It’s what real, true, how-your-grandmother-made-it, Southern-style home cooking is supposed to be! I could smell it smoking when I pulled into the parking lot. I honestly cannot say enough good about this place! It’s a taste of home that wipes all the chain joints off the map. The people in this city must not know what a gem of a restaurant they have or there would have been no place to park! I often review when something is above the top- in this case, it is off the chain- a home run outa the park- & the best damn BBQ I think I’ve EVER had the pleasure of eating. Do not be put off by the small older facade of the building-it’s clean & welcoming & what’s inside is a blast of delicious old-home cooking that u won’t ever b able to forget. Wow! A+++++++++Just incredible- ribs, pulled pork,fried catfish were all exceptional! Can’t wait for my return trip so I can try the chicken & dumplings! If u have never eaten here, do urself a favor & go- if u have eaten here then u already kno what I’m talking about! Hats off folks, for the best dinner I’ve had in years!
This little hole in the wall place is absolutely amazing. The food is hot and fresh, the staff is friendly and fun and the food is fall off the bone delicious. The portions are like no other around. We will be back!

Fantastic place mom and pops feel. Dont come for the arsthetics come for the food. Meat is tender and well made with healthy portions. Whats the top note is everything from pulled pork to fried bologna sammich. Home style cooking and owners are always here to fix anything that may go wrong. Great place good food with that small town ma n paw feel good for the soul.

Very friendly service but I wasn’t impressed with the food. I thought both proteins lacked smoke flavor and the sides were generic. Super friendly people working, I’d try again but earlier in the day.

My mom went up to get food today and ordered 2 shredded chicken dinners today, the lady didn't listen and gave us pulled pork no big deal, so we called and told them hey you gave us the wrong platter, while nice gentleman was being helpful, the lady was in the background saying that we ordered the pork and we was lying to get free food, from the YEARS, yes years we've ordered there we have not once ordered the pulled pork, and I myself don't appreciate someone saying my mom was lying to get free food, we will not be up there again and I will be spreading the word on how unprofessional hearing that lady talking like that about my mom
