Our waitress was AMAZING! Her name is Becky and she was so sweet and informative. We got parking right in front of the door and the meter still had 28 minutes on it. We increased it to 1 hour expecting it to be a longer experience. We walked in and were greeted by so many friendly faces and although it said to seat ourselves they pointed us to several tables. We sat down and Becky gave us time to look over the menu and answered questions. Not even 3 minutes later we received our order. Our food was hot and cooked PERFECTLY! It was wonderful and affordable. We found a friend in Becky and we know that we will make the drive to see her and eat at Pete’s again!
They use that cheap fake Kraft brand cheese, and the coffee was bad. Very poor quality food here. Abysmal. We didn’t even take a bite seeing the fake food was enough, paid our tab and wrote it off as a loss.
Great breakfast food! The nostalgic dinner experience with an extremely welcoming staff. Highly recommend!
Stopped in here for a quick breakfast on a work trip, and it did not disappoint. Simple diner food done extremely well, and quickly! I will absolutely be back here.
We ordered a delicious hearty breakfast. Love the vibe and the lovely staff. I would recommend stopping by.
My favorite breakfast spot in Knoxville! My boyfriend and I go regularly and the staff is so sweet and always remembers us(thanks Valerie haha). The southern breakfast is to die for.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced for the quality received and the portion size was fine.
Busy but fast and delicious service!! The servers were all smiling and very friendly!!
Best breakfast in Knoxville. Great customer service. Affordable prices... Most 5 stars great over all experience.
I'm guessing that years ago Pete's was one of the best places to eat breakfast. But that ship has long since sailed. To say that they use cheap ingredients and make greasy food would be an understatement. I can't imagine a place using cheaper and worst tasting coffee. The eggs were rubbery and my hash browns were some of the worst I've ever had. If it wasn't for the fact that we only had to wait half an hour I would have been more frustrated. There's always a wait out the door at this place and I have never understood why. I guess I decided to give it one last try and was yet again horribly disappointed. At some point I just have to come to terms with the fact that Pete's is no longer the same quality restaurant that it used to be. And it's hard to imagine spending money at this place when there are so many other good breakfast options in the area. This place is just living on fumes and old reputations. It's been a long time since I've had a pleasant face greet me there and most of the time the people seem frustrated and tired of doing their jobs. It's almost as if I'm eating cafeteria quality food when I go there. It's just not worth the money and the wait to get into the door. You be better off to go to waffle House. All good things come to an end. One thing that's ending is my patronage at Pete's. I can't bring myself to waste any more money or time on this place. Neither should you.
