I know this is a chain but the quality and consistency of the food is still in the hands of the employees. The chow mein might as well be called cabbage… because thats 75% of what you get. With the plate your entrees will be gone in 4 bites. Maybe this is a 2 star review for the company more than the location but I digress. Overpriced trash.
Today is wed march 9th 2022I arrived around 1:00, I ordered a plate with orange chicken and Beijing beef. I also got steamed white rice. From ordering to checkout was fast and easy. However, the problem lies in the food. The orange chicken was great, the beijing beef was hard almost overcooked and unedible. And my white rice had a long black hair in it. Definitely not appetizing. As far the price of 12.10, not the worse for your money is filling, but all and all doesn't taste very well. Their are better options out there .Decent if starving otherwise don't do it .Customer service was great, this was my first time going to a panda Express and I am not going to be finding my self getting back on the panda Express. This train will not leave the station for flavor town.
I would love to know how it's possible that this restaurant as well as the one on Cedar Bluff are always out of white rice. We ordered two plates with white rice as it was finally available in the app, and without even asking about a substitution they just put fried rice in place of it. How exactly are you constantly out of white rice like that isn't the literal BASE of fried rice? It is so incredibly quick and easy to cook up white rice I literally don't understand how it's possible that these stores are ALWAYS out of it but only in the last couple of weeks. It kind of seems like laziness to me. If nothing else, if white rice is not available per our order, it's pretty ridiculous to just choose something else for our side without asking. Perhaps there is something in the fried rice that one of us is not able to eat. I just cannot wrap my head around how you run out of WHITE RICE but never anything else. Terrible and lazy employees and the food is not nearly good enough to warrant the constant hassle. The employees are also all rude, spoiled teenagers who are honestly lucky they haven't been dragged out that 10 foot tall drive thru window yet
CHECK YOUR DRINK!!! I ate here back in the Summer and haven't been back since then. The food tasted ok, but when I finished my drink and opened the lid to eat some ice, I found a big cockroach in there!!! I almost threw up. When I want Panda I drive farther away to another location now.
I went close to dinner time, they were out of a few items. I didnt ask nor did they offer that fresh food was coming. Order a bowl and left. Staff was cordial.
Placed order online. Pick up time was listed as 5:15. When we arrived at 5:15, we went inside to pick up order. It took a long time. We didn't get our food until almost 5:45. In the 30 minutes that we waited for our food, I watched the young man cooking open bag after bag of frozen food and dump it into one deep fryer basket after another... And handle the food with his bare hands. He also had his face mask pulled below his chin the entire time we were there. I noticed some of the guys on the front line wearing a glove on one hand only, but handling the food, utensils, and food boxes with both the gloved and bare hands. Kinda defeats the purpose. As for the food itself, it's almost entirely carbs and fat. Pre-packaged, deep fried food is far from healthy. It doesn't come close to comparing to the other local Chinese restaurants such as Dragon Den or Zhu Garden. I gave it 2 stars because the young men were working hard and the food was edible.. rubbery and blah, but edible... Just not my idea of quality Chinese food.
New staff from my last visit 3 years ago. Everyone was friendly and food was good
Panda needs to fast that food can be fresh and plentiful other than 1130 am-1230 pm and 530-630 pm
Ate here Christmas Day before going to the Airport to travel. They was taking food out of the cooler and heating it up I guess from the day before. Let me tell you the almond chicken, steak stir fry, egg rolls and the noodles were absolutely disgusting. That almond chicken had a strange taste that I couldn’t get out of my mouth. The noodles tasted very old and they were cold as well as the egg roll. In all my years of eating this was the worst food I ever ate at in my life. First time eating at Panda and my last. The health department needs to give this place a visit and check the food storage. No excuse to save food from the day before.
Phenomenal! Every one of these guys was working SO hard when I came in a few minutes ago. All the food was hot, fresh, and they were keeping up with every online order as well as drive through orders! My boyfriend and I came in and got perfect food and the guy who checked us out at the register was super helpful. And so close to Christmas too!
