Dang the man can cook! I tried all the sides, the Mac and cheese, angel eggs are my favorite. I m a cornbread person and the cornbread is awesome! I loved the curry chicken too and grilled shrimp! I will be back, sorry I forgot to take a photo, I saw the food and dove in. Loved the vibe and the karaoke music, fun place. Oh one more thing, It’s cooked to order, don’t go there if u are in a hurry but u can order curry chicken on -line pretty quickly if you have a quick lunch break.
The service was incredible and really welcoming. The food was amazing; I got the fried lobster tails, Mac and cheese and angel eggs, and all of it was the best I've ever had. I would really recommend this restaurant. :)
This place is amazing. We came out of town to come here and everything was awesome. The service was good, and the food was ever better. I would definitely come back again. What you get here is worth it!
Honestly, don't know how they have 4.7 rating. That's crazy. I actually had to order and pay in advance of my dine in meal. First hint something wrong, zero customers at 1:50 pm on a Thursday. I had catfish and okra for lunch. It came with RC coke in can. I would have preferred glass with ice. Flavor of spices on fish and okra tasted good. My problem with food was it came overcooked. Everything fried too long. Hard to bite through breading on fish and okra. I removed most of the breading from fish so it was edible. Service and food long ways off 4.7 rating. I would give 3.1. Price was average. Would I go back? No.

Ola’s is by far the best restaurant, food and vibe to happen to Knoxville, TN! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile and the rest is history! The food is FRESH and made to order! The food is cooked with LOVE and GRACE! I’m originally from New Orleans so this kind of cooking is right down my alley! Everything tastes incredible! You won’t be disappointed!
The seafood boil bag is amazing! My husband and I ate here today and everything was wonderful! Definitely reminded me of South Carolina ❤️ (my home)
Hands down THE BEST Soul food in all of South Knox without a doubt an I don't see anyone else comparing in all of Knoxville touching it honestly... I've visited here since they opened an they deserve a great review! I move around a LOT with my job in East, TN so I eat all over, but Mr. Chef Blacc has "IT" That touch of love with whatever meal you select.. Definitely reccomend!! ????

Some of the best fried catfish you will ever eat! Their grits, Mac & cheese and yams were fabulous. Great atmosphere with a fun atmosphere.
