People waiting, but knowing it's worth it. Brought a couple for their 46th anniversary. They had never been before. She said by far it was the best burger she's ever eaten. He was gob smacked at the gyro. They made a special anniversary cake and announced the couples anniversary to all there. Wonderful, amazing.

My wife was looking for someplace we could grab something to eat before heading out of Knoxville. She found this place not too far from where we stayed. She chose it because of all the good reviews. We arrived a little before 11am on Tuesday and the place was hopping. There were two booths that needed cleaned and they said they would get one ready for us. We were seated a few moments later. We were provided menus and offered drinks. As we were reviewing the menu, both my wife and I thought we needed to share the Triple Whammy which is two 1/2 lb cheeseburgers in between three grilled cheese sandwiches and fries. Although, we knew we would not finish it. We asked our server how often anyone orders it and were told about once a week. That is what we ordered. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and looked amazing and huge! We proceeded to unstack it with each of us taking a burger and grilled cheese sandwich. We could not finish it and left most of the fries and most of one of the grilled cheese sandwiches. But, boy was it good! We wish we were in the area because we would come back to try other items on the menu. We definitely recommend you check this place out.
Great family owned cafe. Great food, prices and best of all service. They make you feel like family. Not many owners walk around to make sure all is well. Highly recommend the breakfast bowl and the pancakes. Thanks again, we will be back.

This place is so unbelievably good. We visit at least once a week! The burgers are phenomenal, breakfasts over the moon, and one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had. I mean, there's so many great items, its always a challenge to decide. Also, the staff run the place like a well-oiled machine all while having fun. We feel like family when we come in. TEN STARS.
We enjoyed everything about this place. From the country ham to the ala carte omelette to the perfectly prepared pancakes (thick and fluffy with a slightly crunchy outside). Service was fast, polite and friendly. They would know us by first name if we lived around here.
We missed breakfast and we were so bummed...then we tasted lunch and we were so happy! We will be back next week as we continue our search for our next stage in life. The owners were so friendly and took great care to ensure our kids were happy. It was such a pleasure and we can't wait to come back...hopefully to make it for breakfast!!
Wow!! What a great lunch spot. Highly recommend you stop here when in Knoxville. ? we tried the Brown and Blue burger pictured here. The toasted bun was an extra surprise. The whole burger was perfection! We also had a reuben sandwich, fried okra, chili and onion rings. Nothing was wasted and now we need naps! The service was so nice and fast. Nathan and Linda were great to meet too. Now we understand the hype, it's all true. ??
