Their food is always fresh and portions are large. Definitely worth every penny
Solid food, will try again. Their pork egg rolls are awesome. Spring rolls very tasty too. They don't have dine in service anymore due to staff shortages, but that isn't uncommon anymore.Very filling.
So most places since the pandemic have went down on quality, not Mikata. I have eaten here twice in the past two weeks and it is so so good. The only place where you get noodles and rice with your meal. I love the steamed rice. They get my order correct every time (have been going here years).
Mikata is my favorite Asian restaurant in the Knoxville area. I love their Fiesta Roll and Beef & Shrimp entree. You can order Take out as well.
I've ordered here many times but only every few weeks. I order the same entree with specific special instructions. Today I forgot to say broccoli only instead of the mixed veggies... Didn't realize I did that until I opened up my box and saw the broccoli only ? The food is delicious, but my 5⭐ review is for the attention to detail and customer service! This is why I love supporting local businesses!
Good quality sushi for sure. I’d say a bit overpriced. Got 3 regular and 3 special rolls for $60. Felt like that should have been $40. Minimum wage in Tennessee is $7.25. You’re telling me I have to work a whole day and then some to pay for 6 rolls of sushi?
I ordered the veggie dish which I incorrectly told was vegan friendly. Since eating here last night I have been suffering with food poisoning. I called them and they confirmed the vegetable dish had beef broth which is likely why I am sick. I was lied to and they were very rude. Do better.
The best hibachi shrimp in town! Lo mein tastes wonderful & veggies grilled fantastically! We love it, but ready for dining room to open!
I had the Hibachi Chicken and it was delicious. The noodles really made the combination great. I highly recommend!
Use to really love this place. But until they open the dinning room back up, we are done with them. Every time you call, they say they are trying to hire enough staff to open the dining room back up. 1.5 years is more than enough time to hire dinning room staff!
