Funky old diner serving a good selection. Wish it was easier to read beer style on menu. Enjoyed the atmosphere and location is great. Music not my style but that's minor.
Excellent place for a drink or two, or three! Nearly 50 taps with beers featuring local TN breweries and some very well known national breweries also. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a bright spot on the Old City!
Great place to get a great drink and relax. You can sit inside or outside. Dogs are allowed and very much welcomed inside or outside. Clean restrooms. Easy to find, some parking. Can get busy and they do have live music some nights.
What a great place! Such a good selection of beer and you can even do a flight if you can’t decide! ( like me) we enjoyed the weather outside with our dog and brought food from a local bbq place with us. Such a great time.
If you've seen my other reviews you know I'm not one to frivolously spray stars or gush over a place unless it actually deserves it. This place, (and Pretentious brewery a couple doors down) are the best!This street corner is probably my favorite place in Knox now. Merchants is VERY dog and kid friendly and safe spot. Dogs allowed indoors in the bar and outside in their huge outdoor area. If it's a chill crowd and dogs are well behaved, kids and dogs off leash is acceptable (as long as it is kept low key). Dog park across the street makes this an obvious post-dog park spot.Beer selection is excellent. People are so friendly and vibe is really chill. Highly recommend
Great spot for a drink. The food truck out back has amazing food. I wish had liquor too but it is call merchants of beer for a reason.

I love the face that you can bring your dogs to socialize ! I took my puppy and two year old dog yesterday and they both had so much FUN!
I ordered the bratwurst and fries. It wasbland, the meat was not the star of the show, sauerkarut and mustard added a little flavor but the bun was the best part. Didn't get many fries with the order.
