Mellow Mushroom never disappoints! We love eating here. The atmosphere is always fun and laid back!! Tonight the guy serving us was new on the job. He was working so hard to make sure everything was right with his customers and also running to-gos. He did a great job! He was super nice to our 3 year old little girl who knows how to seriously destroy the floor under our booth!! We will be back. Next time we will find him and ask to be in his section again!! We tipped him well for his hard work.
We came in for dinner a few nights ago to get out of a long day in 90 degree heat. We were hoping for prompt and attentive service- and especially drinks. We were sat in a booth in a corner though there were not many customers there, and we were not greeted until about 10 minutes after we sat down. Once our drinks came, we were not approached with a refill until after our check was brought to our table. Our server was just hanging out with her friends and was not coming over to our table. This was frustrating considering how hopeful we were for something to drink and we were left without a drink through the entirety of our meal. Going forward, I hope that servers will be more attentive to guests and attempt to check on their tables at least every 10 minutes to provide a better experience overall.
I am celiac, and I am super-sensitive to gluten and cross-contamination: I never have a problem at Mellow Mushroom. I've been to multiple locations, including this one in Knoxville, and I always feel great afterwards (well, unless I eat too much, and that's on me!). I order the Mighty Meaty. It's not an inexpensive pizza, but you taste the value in the quality of the ingredients. Thank you, Mellow, for keeping pizza as part of my post-diagnosis life!
Had the pretzel bites with PBR beer cheese, parmesan garlic wings and a plain pizza.. freaking delicious. Oh, can't forget about their signature cocktail, Liquid Marijuana! Also delicious.
This is my first visit to a mellow mushroom. Thoroughly enjoyed the colorful and whimsical interior with the large mushrooms and murals both inside and out. The staff at this location was super friendly. Great pizza one of the best I’ve ever had. Recommend for lunch or dinner families couples adults and children alike
Great experience after touring ut with are daughter we stopped in for lunch.My son is allergic to milk and are waiter helped us find something on the menu for him. The best part was that y'all have vegan cheese that was great. The food was as it should be great.
Impressed with the cleanliness of this location. Our server was new but did a great job. She repeatedly followed up with refills. Our pizzas and salads hit the spot.Visited at 1700 no waiting.
