My wife and I checked out Matt Robb's for the first time this morning, and we were truly so impressed with this literal one-man operation. Matt is such a genuine and personable human, and his biscuits are some of the best we've had in quite some time. It is a very small space with very limited seating, but if you're looking for a delicious breakfast and cup of coffee on-the-go, you won't find a better option in all of Knox!

Amazing service! Matt is a great and friendly. The place is welcoming despite how small it is. Now the biscuits were PERFECTION, I can go on about how they had the perfect texture and flavor. When you bite into a sandwich you are getting LOCAL GOODNESS I have had breakfast with Matt four times. Two of those times I've brought others to fall in love. This is the type of place you want to share with others.Not only are his biscuits made to buttery perfection, he's the kindest conversationalist I would come back because the food is worth every penny. However, the relationship established on the 1st encounter makes me excited to spend my time & treasure at Matt Robb's Biscuit.We have lost these types of relations that come with buying & supporting local. I want to see Matt succeed, because I see him as more than "that guy who make a so fy-yah biscuit sandwich". He is the person, who went above his way to accommodate me on my 1st visit. His location is not handicap accessible, but he is willing to SERVE ALL!!!!He asked one of his regular customers to help me make my order. Once my order was complete, Matt brought it to me himself We spoke and he showed me how to find him on social media. There I would be able to access the menu.My favorite sandwich is a plain biscuit with strawberry jam, bacon, egg, cheddar, and a drizzle of sriracha sauce. This is a Sweet Savory Heat Treat?
Small place, huge flavor! Very friendly and personable staff! So glad to find this place. It is a small place so give yourself some time for your breakfast sandwich, to be made (not a long wait) it is definitely worth the wait! Fresh homemade style biscuits that are full of flavor!
This place is amazing. It’s cozy and the atmosphere is great. Matt is so great too, very friendly and welcoming. The menu is simple and the coffee is great. Everything is made with care and we will definitely be back. We had the bacon egg and cheese garlic biscuit and the strawberry jam biscuit. ?so yummy!*Forgot to take photos because we just ate them so fast.
Incredible! By far the best biscuits in Knoxville. Matt is very welcoming and personable with his customers. Also, he's had a perfect 100 health score the past 6 TIMES IN A ROW!!! It is obvious how much Matt cares about his customers, business, and products. I was blown away by how great of an experience it was.
This is one of the BEST breakfast stops in downtown! Matt has amazing, fresh biscuits, with awesome ingredients. Not only is the food amazing, the coffee is a phenomenal beverage to wash down the delicious mouthful of food. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good breakfast!
SCREW THIS GUY!! It should be all about Nancy. Killer concept and great design... she killed it. And then there's **THE** 'Nancy'... the crown jewel of all breakfast sandwiches. That sweet, buttery biscuit with crisp edges secretly stashing strawberry jam and honey on the inside with scrambled egg and of course the salty, crispy bacon. Of course you can get sausage but in order to elevate your taste buds to the next level, you MUST get bacon. Oh ya, and that guy Matt, he's cool too.
Words cannot describe the level of excellence Matt Robb's brings to the table when it comes to the biscuit business. I have had the great pleasure of dinning in Matt's establishment and conversing with him from time to time. Without fail, Matt's kindness and mastery when it comes to making such excellent food and some of the most flavorful and potent cold brew you'll ever try have greeted me each time I've stepped through the door. I will most certainly be coming back time and time again!
