4 Star because the customer service was EVERYTHING! The food...3 star. You order at the counter then find your own seating, which I like. The space is not very big, but there's plenty of seating and tables. There's also outdoor eating space.Unisex bathrooms which makes it nice and spacious for individuals that may have a wheelchair, walkers, and or families. This was our first time coming here and we tried a variety of items. Wasn't really pleased in the taste of the food. The eggs were not scrambled as requested and definitely overcooked. The grits lacked flavor and very gritty. The sausage meatballs were bomb, but very greasy, you would've thought they would have drained the grease before serving.Probably wouldn't come again, but like I said the staff is really great!
I wish i love it but i dont. I order what is called Risky biscuit that comes with 2eggs+shitake mushroom gravy. They asked how i want my egg cook. I told them i dnt like runny york, i want egg york cook around 80%, they calles over medium and this is what i got. Super runny egg york. I may b a picky eater but for me im not a big fan of biscuit and gravy taste here much. My gravy has only 2 pieces of shitake. I dnt think it worth $10 for me sorry
Wonderful place for breakfast! The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Bluegrass playing softly in the background is amazing. I had The Cowboy biscuit with a Sunnyside up egg, Sweet Grace waffle, and Crispy Potatoes. Hands down best breakfast I have had a a restaurant! Portions, flavors, and price I don't think can be beat. I may live an hour away, in town for a doctor appointment, but I will gladly make the drive to have breakfast here again.
My husband ordered Steak & Gravy. The country fried steak was poorly breaded, which left half of the steak naked and when it was fried it turned to shoe leather. The sausage gravy was heavy on Cajun seasoning. The biscuit was perfectly serviceable. I ordered their fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately they were unevenly cut which led them too be unevenly cooked- mushy at best. Unfortunately, their breading issue continued on my plate. Was noticeably thicker in some places. More mush. Unfortunately, we would have been better off finding a Denny’s or IHOP.
Absolutely phenomenal! This is now my favorite place for breakfast in Knoxville. Food was great, service is great, atmosphere is great. I got my food quickly, even though they were slammed on a Sunday after Cars and Coffee. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful breakfast! Perfectly southern biscuits and gravy ! Fried green tomatoes and potatoes o Brian were delicious! We enjoyed breakfast so much we came back a second time while in town - it’s a little off the beaten path but worth the trip !!
This place is outstanding! To start the biscuit n gravy is the best I have ever had! Delicious!!! Potatoes o brian needed more cheese but was delicious as well! My fiancé had the same with egg and loved it too. I will be back ASAP
Taking biscuits to another level. I love this place. Great food and service with a smile. Atmosphere is usually upbeat with a little bluegrass in the background. My favorite is the Risky Biscuit (has a little heat ?), with two scrambled eggs and a good cup of coffee. Ask for a real mug.Check out the menu online and try it. Patio seating, high top or regular tables.
Very delicious food very enthusiastic young employees????
I had brunch at this fine establishment today. The food was amazing and very fresh. I had two eggs sunny side up over their potato medley which had onions and chunks of sweet peppers. Most excellent! The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed and their maple bacon was thick cut and very delicious! Their many choices for coffee and their flakey biscuits with blackberry jam was a nice ending to a wonderful meal. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. I hope they come to Ohio soon. I am a big fan!
