Such a lovely, hidden place. Great place to bowl and eat. Not your average bowling alley menu. My group of 4 decided to share 4 appetizers. Service was great and fast. Nicest place I’ve ever bowled!

I took my daughter and her friend on a tour of UT so we decided to visit the Market Square area. We stopped by Maple Hall for bowling and refreshments. This place has a lot of character, fun environment, and the food & drinks are so good. The bowling shoes appear to be newer and clean! An added bonus—we got to bowl next to “sock sniffer” ?
What a cool location!Actually, on a hot day, it really is "cool". That alone was worth the cost- oh, but the unique setting, excellent service, and nice equipment was also fantastic.A couple of our kiddos got to bowl for their first time- and loved every minute of it.
UPDATED:This previously, I called and was told they were not very busy and had open lanes. When I arrived, they had told me they actually had private parties the entire night, and to come try again another night. We were disappointed because we drove all the way out there after being told they had open lanes.They reached out to me personally afterwards and asked for me if we would consider giving them another chance. My wife and I went later on a week night and I have to say wow, I was very impressed with the entire place. The bowling, food, and drinks were all Excellent, and exceeded my expectations. I will say the lanes are quite close to each other and the atmosphere is quite loud, but we did not mind. The whole place is very nicely decorated, and overall we had a really really nice night. I truly believe what happened to us was an anomaly, and I would highly recommend this place to a friend.

I would like say the experience was nice. However, the server was VERY inattentive, and the girl at the front desk at the bottom of the stairs was EXTREMELY rude. Came early to make a reservation, and she back talked almost everything I said. When we were bowling, I asked a specific question to get back talked yet again with extreme attitude. Maple Hall— you need to re-evaluate your costumer service employees. Overall it made the entire experience not enjoyable. Having to walk to the bar to order drinks when the server was standing around talking to other employees was very annoying. I can confidently say we will NOT be taking our business here ever again. Waste of $100.
Okay! Maple Hall has to be one of the best Venues in Downtown Knoxville. Yes, it is a Bowling Alley but it is really a lot more in that it is super cool place to hang out. You gotta check this one out. One of my easiest 5 Star Picks in the last couple of years and easier still, never been to a nicer Bowling Alley; this one will knock you over even though it isn't huge. What happened to the menu? Beer cheese is now Velveeta. Flat sparkling wine. Menu changes leave very little for vegetarians. Still a cool bowling alley, but eat beforehand.
My fiance and I stopped by to bowl and have a couple of cocktails and we had an awesome experience. There were tons of fun bowling games to choose from and the cocktails we got were delicious. We didn't try any of the food but it looked great as well. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and friendly. The service was fast and the prices were very reasonable. We can't wait to go back on our next trip to Knoxville!
