Friendly service and great coffee. I had a cortado that was very pleasant. The espresso used definitely had a distinct flavor from other Knoxville coffee shops. It had a nice, almost smokey finish.

Mahalo Coffee on Union Ave. is my favorite coffee shop in downtown Knoxville! Their coffee is absolutely fantastic and if you don't know what to order then their staff, who are all very knowledgable in coffee, are always happy to help you choose. Speaking of staff; they are the nicest, kindest people... welcoming and spirited and friendly. Parking is easier than you'd think for downtown as there are several metered spaces around the block and there are two convenient parking garages feet away that are inexpensive (free on weekends!). I recommend the nitro cold brew with oat milk and a tad vanilla
Had a fantastic experience at Mahalo this morning. Fewer reviews than others in the area, but don’t let that sway you,.. it’s 5-star. As a fairly discerning home roaster with less interested family and friend travel companions, sometimes coffee becomes an ordeal. My wife chose Mahalo this morning, and we all walked-away satisfied.Our knowledgeable barista was tuned-in and guided me toward a very flavorful specialty batch brew (pour over wasn’t required thanks to the well-equipped crew’s attention to technique), my buddy enjoyed his decaf mocha, and our wives enjoyed their seasonal lattes. Drinks, pastries and burrito were all on-point. Perfect balance of skill, knowledge, and unpretentiousness at Mahalo. Thank you!!!!
