Great atmosphere decor and Especially Food!! Steaks were delicious. Cooked to request!! Baked Potatoe very large with LOTS of toppings. All requests provided. Will go back again!!
Excellent food and service. Jeffrey was a phenomenal waiter! Very attentive, polite, and professional. Food was really good. The Chilli dog was perfect! Thunder road burger is excellent. Very good onion rings and fries. The absolute highlight was their collard greens. Amazing!
Nice local restaurant with some fantastic food. Write your party name and how many on their chalkboard. Wait time can be a little high because it's good food but their service was so quick! I got a chili cheeseburger and they put all the toppings on the side which was so nice. A lot of food! The other dish was a salad with chicken salad and steak fries on the side. All of it was delicious. I will go back again no doubt. Oh, I stole the bacon from the salad and put it on my burger just before I took the pictures. ?
This is a great restaurant that stays packed from 11:00 till closing. Very friendly service and a wide variety of cakes and pies. We tried the coconut pie, the orange and strawberry cake. We also took a slice of the key lime pie with us. The portions of cake and pie are huge and enough to share. We ate on them for three days! For lunch we had the chicken salad sandwich and the chicken and dressing with pinto beans and collard greens. The chicken and dressing came with a grilled chicken breast and a small serving of cornbread dressing. Everything thing good but it did not rise to the level of five stars for us. We would eat here again if in the area. Be there at 11:00 or be prepared to wait. Write your name on the chalk board as soon as you get there.
Litton's is Knoxville. It is the number one place to go for a burger to steak to fish. Honestly, I cannot say I have ever had a bad experience here. Very tasty food and proffessional, courteous service all at comparable prices. Extra clean.
Great Hamburgers! Atmosphere is a blast from the past! Bakery is very good!!
Great place to eat and enjoy local food. Courteous staff and good knowledge of menu items. Lots of great cakes and coffee to just enjoy and visit with friends.
Absolutely amazing. Wendy was our server and her 20 plus years of service showed. She helped guide us around the menu and come to some really amazing menu choices. If you look at my pictures you'll see we started off with a half order of onion rings. Keep in mind this was only a 1/2 order and we had already eaten half of the half order when we took the pic! (They looked so good I forgot to snap pics 1st! Always a dign if a good restaurant for me when I forget to take pics!) The amount you receive is amazing for the price. These were some of lighter onion rings I've tasted.. almost gave a slight Funyons taste in their crispness. Once the appetizer was out of the way we got our burgers delivered. The burgers have a very nice charcoal taste, the meat was very thick and very tender. The fries were hand cut, crispy and fried to perfection. The size of the patties and the bun are nothing to laugh at. I took a pic with my hand for a size reference. Finally you shouldn't visit without trying the dessert. We had an on special Neapolitan cake that Wendy warmed slightly for us, after her recommendation to do so. Did not disappoint! I also had a Italian cream cake. The icing was the sweetest of buttercreams and the cakes are so light and fluffy. I look forward to our next visit and other menu items. Also fret not beer and burger fam, they got a few select bottles to enjoy with your meal.
This is directed ONLY to the BAKERY offerings... We grabbed 2 total items (double pack of chocolate chunk cookies and a turtle brownie). When the total came up to $14 we were shocked but presumed they MUST be delicious. Neither of the items tasted hand-made. The dough for the cookies tasted like day old Kroger clearance rack cookies with chocolate chunks that fell off the top. The brownie caramel had coagulated and was actually 2 thin brownies that tasted straight out of the box. Not worth the price at all...
Amazing desserts. We had the chocolate cake for moms birthday and a cream cheese brownie to go. So good you will want to take something home. Fresh quality food. A Knoxville favorite since the early 1980s. Sometimes a wait but we'll worth it. Add your name to the chalkboard and prepare for classic American fare. Burgers, fries, grilled chicken blue plate specials (lunchtime). They even offer a party room with reservations will easily work for a family gathering of 10-15 or business event of 50 maybe 75 people. Friendly staff and as an example of quality some staff have been there 20 years! Go. Enjoy. You'll be glad you did!
