I was very dissatisfied with the salad, well the lettuce it was brown, I would not serve this to anyone, so if getting to go order check your food before you get home. I threw it out. I saw you have a 97 on health score so that’s a plus. The main course were good, so happy about that, please check the lettuce you are serving if you can’t find good lettuce, which I know is hard right now, just don’t serve it, say you are out……The girl who took my order on the phone and rung me up, was very nice and professional.
Just finished up eating here portion size is messed up especially if you are at the table I got half the portion. Compared to the people and the ends. Unclean service cook used the same utensils for the uncooked chicken to touch the rice. Absolutely gross this place needs to clean up not the same as 2 years ago. Your better off going to makinos if you want hibachi.
We ate here as a party of 10 (4 adults and 6 children, ages 1-9). We frequent another hibachi place in Knoxville; however, since visiting, I think we will be switching to Little Tokyo. The Chef interacted with my kids and didn't act annoyed or bothered by them. He even repeated some of the tricks they enjoyed. Food was great and ate on the leftovers for two days. 10/10 will be revisiting.
If i could give a lower rating I would. I normally do not write reviews but I feel that I would be doing a disservice if i do not. My family have eaten here on several times and each time the food has been bad and the service has been much worse. We try to give restaurants a few chances and they have failed every time. The main reason I am writing this review because of how my daughter was treated this evening. She and her boyfriend arrived. They were seated by a very rude server. They ordered appetizers which did not arrive until the meal was almost over. The server did not ask what dressing to be on the salad which is fine as normally the salads come with ginger dressing. There salads came with ranch. Why would a server assume someone wanted ranch without asking? I will let you guess. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm at best. Finally, both ended up being sick shortly after the meal. I am sorry to rant but my family and I will not eat here anymore.
I ordered Scallops and Salmon for $13.99 on the lunch menu.Nothing special about it.I should have taken pictures to see if anyone else would be as shocked as I was when I was served 2 medium sized Scallops and a 3" long (it was probably more like a little over 2" long) by 1" wide piece of Salmon. No joke. They ask for cash tip(s).i have a few tips I can give them!No next time for me.I will go back to Wasabi where you get a substantial serving of meat/seafood/vegetables - plus a show - for about the same lunch price.I forgot to mention our disinterested server.
Worst customer service in East Tennessee. If you’re looking for hibachi, I strongly recommend you try anywhere else first. This place is the last resort. My wife and I placed a takeout order on Valentine’s Day and when I arrived at the restaurant, they had “given away my order” to another person with the same first name. Their only solution to resolve the problem was to have me wait in their lobby for 45 minutes.
Servers had no emotion. Had to repeat drink order 3 times. Chicken was cold. Everything else was good.
I was not pleased at all.The host were friendly and courteous. The server was not to friendly. My salad was delivered and was three shreds of carrots in a bowl of iceberg lettuce, the other person's salad was not delivered and had to ask for it and it arrived with the meal. The meal was very small portions and was not able to get refill of our drinks. Sorry to say that was my first visit and will be my last.
A nice and basic, meets all your needs sushi restaurant. At dinner time I was well attended to with multiple servers checking in on me and it took less than 10 minutes for my food to show up. I judge every sushi place by their eel nigiri and theirs was melt in your mouth tender. They have a $5 hot carafe of sake on the menu that hit the spot. The shrimp tempura roll had good crunch and when I asked for a side of spicy mayo it was immediately delivered. I would recommend this place if you like very fresh sashimi and sushi. All the dishes I saw other patrons consuming looked very good.
Extremely disappointed. We sat on the restaurant side because grill side was 45 min wait. Started off with edamame which was good. Then sushi which was just okay. Then we both had hibachi which was not good. The chicken was super dry and overcooked and the shrimp was the toughest shrimp I’ve ever had. Service was impersonal. I won’t be back unless we go to the grill side, I would try that.
