Never got our food after ordering on the KFC app on 2-25. staff said he would leave a message with the Gm Kevin Wells, went back a few days to get our order cause didn’t have any time before that. Manager said they didn’t know what I was talking about and to call the 1-800 number. Either fix the app where if you’re out of stuff or communicate better amongst the staff. (Wish I read the previous reviews before coming here, this place seriously needs to step up their game)
This location would be better closed. This is the second time I've not been able you eat what I've ordered. The fries were hard as rocks. The chicken was dripping in what tasted like old burned oil. The biscuit was as hard as Ellie Maes. I will not go back. Understanding it's fast food but this was a disappointment.
I ordered two number 1 meals for drive thru, but they only give me 1 order. I found it when I arrived at home. I called them, and they won’t refund me unless I come back the same day with receipt and meal, and won’t accept me for coming back later for another day. It is too late in the evening and it does not make sense for me to drive back for the KFC’s mistake. I will avoid this place in the future.
This place is ridiculous. I placed an order online and then was told that I had to wait in the drive thru to pick up my order. I understand that places are short staffed, however if you are able to make orders online you should be able to pick them up without them being cold. I know nothing will be done about this because customer service is non exist at this time.
This location needs to be closed. I have ordered from here on four separate occasions, weeks/months apart, and every time they are sold out of everything I order which is…. Chicken mashed potatoes coleslaw… not like we order anything crazy. Don’t know how you’re Kentucky fried chicken and don’t have fried chicken. And this is during normal to early times, not right before they close or anything. I recommend finding another location.
It is a looooooong wait every time I come here. Dining room says open but the doors are locked. You have to go through the drive-thru to pickup a mobile order. Chicken is always good but this place is a joke when it comes to service.
Ordered online to pickup. Wait at store was long. Got the wrong order and was charged for both the correct and incorrect orders. Because the wait was so long we didn't go back to get the right order and ate what we got. Greasy and cold. Very disappointing.
Do not waste your time going to this restaurant! There are other KFCs in Knoxville and you would have better luck at the others. I can't count the number of times I have went through the drive-thru and gotten home and be missing an item from my order. And this is not blamed on covid-19 because most of these things happened pre-covid. Today's order was missing mashed potatoes and I would not leave until I was given what was due. However when I got home the portions of meat were absolutely appalling! They put no care in their service and lack customer relation skills! I've called the headquarters once but it looks like there's going to have to be some more action before they get their act together!
I decided to try this KFC on Cedar Bluff since my experience at the Kingston Pike one was so uneven. I just have to give a shout out and rave review for 2 folks who work the take out window: Kevin and Kerington. These young men are an absolute breath of fresh air in the land of overworked, stressed out, and grumpy to plain rude workers. They always have a smile, something pleasant to say, and a true customer service attitude. I went yesterday and neither was on and the difference was stark. The gal who waited on me didn't even try to be pleasant. Also my order with them is always correct and delivered efficiently. This time my chicken breast was SO overcooked and unbelievably small.
For the last three times I have visited this store, they have gotten my order wrong. The first two times I found out about it at home, but the third time I sat at the window and verified they forgot my mashed potatoes. It is getting so tedious to always have to double-check their work. And having a picture of white Jesus in the window is unacceptable!
