Understaffed Tables not clean and sticky Glassware worn and filthy No ice in tea Breakfast took almost an hour ans the stir was empty One waitress was hustling but forgot our coffee ? Worst experience yet in restaurant on chapman highway It’s a shame Because ihop used to be an American breakfast guarantee
Every IHOP has the same menu items or very similar items. This place, however, has amazing and friendly people who all chip in being awesome to others. The atmosphere and general care here is reminiscent of many luxury eateries I have had the pleasure of dining at before. Make sure you leave a generous tip to compliment the amazing people here, even if you are placing and picking up a to go order. They take care of you, so please take care of them!
We went about an hour before closing (3pm) my first impression was that it looked dirty, the floor especially. However, the tables were clean and the food was good. Our waiter was nice and prompt. The building needs updated
The floor was an absolute mess. The food was cold even though it came out fairly quickly. The bathroom floors were very slippery. Two stars because the waiter was attentive and had great hair.
Cook staff not wearing hair nets, one female cook(I think was a mgr.)continued to wipe nose and didnt have gloves on. Didn't get seated after waiting 20 minutes. Staff was rude to each other. Overall tense atmosphere. Was very disappointed since I had driven from Athens to Knoxville.
So, on Thanksgiving, I got a to-go order. It came up to 23 or so bucks, I left a three dollar tip. I checked my bank account, and they took out $47. I'm actually pretty upset about it, but I have decided to just leave a review. There's absolutely no reason for that, and I know that I will never return.
The 1 star is because our server was so nice. Eggs were dry and it the remake took a while to come. The manager was yelling at the employees in front of customers and making references towards other customers' ethnicity. Food came out cold and raw. Please don't visit here. You will be disappointed.
Every one was very nice and friendly and the food was great. Their waffles are the best. The over medium eggs were cooked to perfection.
It took a little while to get seated but was totally worth it! Our waitress was wonderful! Our food came out pretty quickly for how busy they were and the manager Kristen was awesome! She was so funny and kept checking on every table!
Sat at the table for over 40 min without getting a drink order in. While the tables on the other side of the establishment got there food and drinks ordered and delivered. Spoke with the manager twice and all she could say was “sorry your server has a big party.” However it was just a party of 8 divided into two tables. The server kept blaming the big party for not being able to take care of us. Took over two hours just to even leave the establishment from the time we got in. They will seat you fast. But it will takes forever to get an order and food in. Also the whole team needs to retrained. Because putting your fingers on the plate in the food and a big sanitary thing.
