We were traveling through on our way to the east coast. Have had bad expierince with the highway hotels, spent a little more but so worth it staff was great, room was great, will definately return. 5 stars
The hotel is a Beautiful property in a fun part of Knoxville. It is a modern hotel, but in a renovated older building. All staff were excellent, from the Valet attendants to Front Desk. Rooftop bar is an added bonus!
This is a very nice property. The staff was great and very helpful. The only complain I have is that the shower door would not close and I had to improvise with one of the shampoo bottles provided by the hotel.
Was not as I expected from a Hyatt. Service upon check in was not as I have received in the past when visiting Hyatt. Was not a fan of having to park and walk so far just to get to the hotel. I have had better experience staying at Hyatt but this may not be my first choice the next time around.
My family stayed here for a long weekend in July. We were not able to secure a room with double beds, but our children were able to share the foldout sofa bed. From check in to check out, every single staff member we encountered was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are pretty standard and clean. We were not able to use the rooftop bar (small children with us), but it looked beautiful. We did bring our small dog with us, and he did well in the hotel and room and staff and other visitors were friendly towards him. The free breakfast is better than other free breakfasts offered at other chain hotels, fresh fruit and warm offerings. The location is great. Easy to get to and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Only downside was that I didn't feel 100% safe taking my dog out to the park across the street from the hotel in the middle of the night. There was some illegal activity and a lot of homeless people there, definitely not a fault of the hotel, just something I noticed. The hotel had staff outside manning the valet desk and that did make me feel better. Parking was easy, large public garage right behind the hotel.
Great location in the active downtown district, close to food and activities. Starbucks next to the lobby is convenient. Parking could be better at $28 daily for valet only. Valet parks guest in the $7 per day garage .25 miles away. The boat horns woke me unexpectedly at 5:00 AM on Monday.
Loved it! Super friendly people, awesome breakfast bar, super awesome rooftop bar. The location by all the shops on Gay Street plus the Market Square could not be better. We self-parked in the garage and there is a street level bridge from the 3rd floor that takes you to Gay Street right by the front door of Hyatt Place, on top of that, we left on a Saturday morning and the parking garage is free on the weekend so we didn't pay anything for parking during our stay! Quiet rooms and love the art in the building. This is a great place to stay.
I always stay at the Hyatt Place downtown when I’m visiting Knoxville. I trust the cleanliness of the rooms/bathrooms, and friendliness of the staff. The rooftop bar with the amazing views is also a bonus!
A++ rating for excellent service, cleanliness, friendliness and professional service. Everyone was attentive and helpful. The valet attendant was attentive and professional. We were very happy with the services provided.
A great place to stay for a special occasion; I was there for a traveling Broadway production at the Tennessee Theater right next door. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, so plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Will definitely return!
