I tried the Holy Land Deli for first time because I heard they have the best New York style Reuben sandwich, I wasn’t disappointed it was so good! I also had a Greek salad absolutely fresh and excellent taste. It’s just a little place on Sutherland Avenue every one needs to try it out!!!
Hadn't been to Holy Land Market in quite a while. I was overjoyed that it is a good as I remembered. It really feels like you're going to a friend's house to enjoy a good meal.There's plenty of choices for most every diner (omni, vegetarian, vegan, etc).
Huge menu and authentic cuisine. You will find specialty items in the market section that are unavailable elsewhere. I met the owner, Walter. He was delightful. Highly recommended!
This place is incredible from the market to the experience. Walter is amazing I have never met anyone quite like him. He shared some samples with us and told us about some really neat things including his preparation for St. Patty’s day! I highly recommend you go see him. Everything we ate was delicious! Even some candies we sampled but the baklava was out of this world! Our first experience was very memorable thanks to Walter & we will definitely be back.
We met Walter and he is such an amazing soul. We love his food and coming from Chicago and trying to find good authentic food is rare around here but his is spot on if not better than. Delicious!!!

A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Everything i ever bought from here was great especially baba ganoush,spinach and potato pies, some of the very best restaurant tzatziki sauce if you're a garlic lover like me. The owners are very hospitable. RIP Denise
