Pretty quick service, friendly staff, decent ramen, but could definitely have more options and cream based options and more flavor, but it’s not bad. The tonkotsu has some very good pork belly.
Excellent fresh sushi. Great wait staff. Prices were a bit high considering that the restaurant wasn’t very upscale. Definitely recommend
Our first time visiting Fin-Two Japanese Ale House. We are new huge fans!!! The entire place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The food was even more amazing than we had been told. The entire staff was very friendly, courteous, and very professional. A special huge shout out to our server, Sam!!! Sam was on point with his knowledge and skill. Sam went the extra mile to accommodate us old folks and guided us to an exceptional meal and dining experience! We’ll definitely be back as much as possible, and we’ll be asking for Sam every time! Thank you all for a memorable date night for a couple of old Great Grandparents!!!❤️
Delicious ramen and sushi! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. My wife is gluten free and Winfield was awesome and guided her to all the gluten free options and modifications for each menu item. While we waiting for our to-go order the servers kept asking if they could get us drinks or just water, super friendly! Highly recommend trying them out!
Nice atmosphere, a slightly more fancy place than the others in this style of food, so it s a good place for a date or a night out. Fancy and tasty cocktails, full bar - so plenty of options if you want something different.The food is delicious, everything you can see in the pics: ramen, sushi rolls, appetizers (gyoza).Definitely worth trying it out.
Food is fresh, Maki rolls are a bit small and service is nonexistent when they get the least bit busy. We got lost when the crowd hit around 6pm after having been there for several rolls. Staff was courteous and apologetic but still not pleasant experience.
The customer service was awful, demeaning, and hateful. My guest and I were courteous and pleasant with the service staff. It took over two hours to get our order of one sushi roll and a few side dishes. The server brought the check and slammed it on the table. We were bewildered as to why she was so aggressive. The server returned to the table, speaking loudly so other patrons could hear, and began to threaten us for the apparent rude behavior we had been giving the staff. My guest and I did not understand and had not been anything but pleasant and enjoying our conversation while waiting for our food. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came to the table and apologized, but the server returned from processing my credit card and again began to yell. The manager did nothing! My guest and I were nothing but pleasant to the staff the entire time. Even while everyone around us was receiving their food before we were. We did nothing to deserve this treatment. I even asked to see the proof of the transgression that I was accused of and was denied. My guest and I did nothing. We were not rude, not angry, and did not raise our voices to the staff for any reason. I welcome the restaurant to publicly share the video surveillance from the restaurant to prove this. I would recommend that you find another restaurant to visit. This place does not care about the guest experience or care that the staff yells at and threatens customers.
If you want to eat at a place that makes you feel like home and has delicious ramen and sushi, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Located in the heart of the old city, it’s just a walk away from anywhere downtown. Happy hour is M-TR and is my go to spot for Monday night dinner since they are the only place open in the old city!
We love Japanese food! We were blown away! We had the brussel spouts, chicken ramen, salmon, eel and tuna rolls. Everything had great flavors! Exactly the type of Japanese I’ve been looking for in Knoxville!PS we loved the Anime playing on the projectors
Spectacular customer service! The sushi is great and the ramen is by far the best I've had anywhere in East Tennessee. The crispy pork belly is spot on. The broth is excellent along with everything else they put in it. The Tiramisu cake is crazy delicious.
