I wanted to order the #9 spicy baked Ziti with chicken which was $8.49. but when I asked her what kind of sauce it was she said it was pork. I told her that I did not eat pork and asked if I could substitute it for marinara sauce she said no. So she charged me for a #8 baked Ziti which was $8.49 and also charged me $1.99 for the added chicken.I also ordered a Caesar salad which was $2.49. but when I looked at the bill she had charged me $3.49 instead. Another cashier told me it was because it was charged as a meal deal.At least the bread sticks were unlimited and soft. But they were too salty. The Caesar sauce was also very salty.Since when do Italians cook with a lot of salt. I've eaten Italian food before I was married to an Italian. He was a great cook. And it was just right, not too bland, not too spicy.Overall it was a good experience and the food. Only thing that was missing was a nice glass of wine. Next time we will try the Fazolis in Morristown.
We were expecting it to be a regular sit-down restaurant, but it turned out to be something between that and a fast food place. My wife ordered at the counter and I ordered online which is why mine came in aluminum and hers came in a bowl. The garlic bread was nice and soft which is great for people with no teeth. I got baked chicken ziti, a slice of pizza, and they brought me three breadsticks which is odd because they only brought my wife two... But the breadsticks are unlimited so it doesn't matter. The ziti was a lot spicier than I expected but it's quite good. (To be fair, I ordered the spicy ziti and didn't notice.)They offer real ceramic dishes, real stainless steel tableware, but paper cups for your drinks. All in all this was a different experience than expected but we will be revisiting anytime my wife can decide she can handle the carbs. It's a shame there is so few of these, this one is 34 minutes from my house and the next nearest one is 45 minutes and that's if Google maps is correct.
Please people who are reading any reviews of any business; notice the amount of reviews that others have given in their lifetime of reviewing before you let their good or bad comments give you a false report.I have noticed lately that heavy reviewers (which is displayed at top of review) will give an honest negative review and suddenly a barrage of FANTASTIC reviews will pop up underneath to cover the truth from a person who has not placed a review but once or twice.Beware of these first timers reviews; they may be staff or friends/family of staff alike.I tend to agree with the gentleman who stated that the dining room is left unattended. As a former restaurant 'jack of all trades, master of none' I see it myself unfortunately. It seems it would be the opposite and the team would be overly diligent regarding good, quality, and welcoming service..?As a former restaurant manager_ it almost makes me want to get up and clear the tables myself when I see this and have done so in my hometown eateries. ?♀️It's not asking too much to maintain a clean and presentable atmosphere for other diners as they enjoy their meal. The food portions were always sufficient for a meal and a take-home box, but the economy has taken a toll upon all of us.My personal advice to these longtime favorites such as Fazoli's would be to strive to make your returning/new guests feel like you are staying 'in it to win it' and show some gratitude for those that still hunger for that Italian taste for such a reasonable price that we may all be able to enjoy.I plan to order take-out from here tonight and hopefully I will not need to add or change my review afterward.....God be with us all: Emmanuel.Much Amore ????
First time visit. Wasn't bad. Used drive thru. Wasn't in line long. The employee was friendly and nice. I was tired and hungry so I tried the pizza when I got back to the hotel and it was decent. Now I will say the bread sticks were flavorful and they hit the spot.
I went to this Fazolis for dinner last night and the staff there were very nice and friendly! The cashier was very helpful with the menu, and the manager, Lily, went above and beyond making a visit to every table to see if anything was needed. The food was amazing and the store was very clean, I will definitely be back soon.
Not crowded at all at 2:30 in the afternoon. I ordered the $5 lunch special of spaghetti & meat sauce with a drink. Employee range it up differently and total was over $10. Sat down, ate, and ran out of bread. Nobody taking care of dining room. Plates, bowls left on 3 tables that I can see right now since I've been sitting here. Nobody came around to offer more bread or see how anyone in the dining room is doing. These businesses are going downhill from what they used to be.Probably won't be back. Can get better service, and food at Olive Garden for same price.
I decided to come here and see what a fast food Italian place would be like. Got the ultimate sampler which included spaghetti, penne, Alfredo, lasagna, and complimentary bread. The Alfredo was surprisingly garlicy. The penne and spaghetti had marinara and tastes like you'd think. Lasagna was fine. For the price, the food was above expectations.
Not as good as it used to be... the last few times I got pizza there was no cheese on a third of the piece. The bread sticks were hard on the ends, too.It used to be a lot better and quite a bit cheaper. Not the best combo of changes.
Service was fine, restaurant was clean looking. Maybe it’s just me having worked at that store a lifetime ago, but the presentation was bad, breadsticks were cold and hard. Ordered the chicken Alfredo and didn’t seem like much chicken at all and what it came with was breaded chicken.
The food was fast and it was absolutely fantastic! Unlimited bread sticks and, very well priced! Fast food Italian! Definitely strongly recommended and, will eat here again!
