We were staying at the Hilton downtown and my husband ordered this thai food for me because he knows I'm Asian and I can't live solely on fried food alone! Haha. But we ordered the dragon noodles and coconut milk soup and it was AMAZING!!!! The food was very favorable and very comparable to the thai food we have in the Northwest! I highly recommend this place!
It was so so so good! We got 6 different menu items and was impressed with all of them. The overwhelming favorite was the drunken noodles. Thai style fried rice was great, loved the spring rolls and the gyoza, and the papaya salad was refreshing. Pad Thai also very satisfying. I don’t think you could go wrong with any order and the portions were large. We had many to go boxes at the end! Will happily come back.
Wonderful family-run restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our Tom Kha and Drunken Noodles. The service was quick but we also know that if they're busy, it's worth the wait for their chef to create these family recipes. Absolutely delicious! Looking forward to visiting again when we're back in Knoxville.
Small restaurant with limited indoor seating. The food was delicious! Got the drunken noodles with shrimp and the pieces were large and the noodles were flavorful. We also got the crying Tiger beef salad and the meat was tender and the sauce over the salad was spicy. Half of the menu was sold out around 6PM when we went so do try to go early if you want to try the iced drinks or popular appetizers.
This is DEFINITELY the best Thai food in Knoxville. Although slightly more expensive than other places, the portions are also bigger than other Thai spots and the amount of layers in the flavor is insane! The drunken noodles had a very nice stretchy texture and the red curry was incredibly tangy and aromatic. I wish I could give higher than a 5/5, this place definitely deserves at least a 6/5. I could not recommend Fai Thai more. If you know anything about authentic Thai food then you know this place has Thai cuisine down to a science.
My husband and I love Fai Thai! The food is always delicious (the basil stir fry is our favorite) and the atmosphere is great. They’re a family owned business that we always like to support. Wonderful food and wonderful folks! We highly recommend Fai Thai!
Love this restaurant! I LOVE their pad thai, drunken noodles, Thai style fried rice, egg rolls, and Thai iced tea! Their food is top notch, delicious, and I don’t have indigestion from the food afterwards like I many times do with Thai food from other restaurants. This indicates to me that they use cleaner ingredients in their food prep. The service is quick and the orders are always correct (even when ordering delivery). Keep up the great work!
Second time eating here. Perfectly decadent and will return frequently. Love the curry, pad Thai, and the Tom Kha soup.
Love their food! Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Their basil stir fry is good too.Place itself is a bit small for indoor seating but ambience is good.
It really doesn't get much better than Fai Thai. I've enjoyed her food for years on the food truck, but it seems her food has gotten better with a bigger kitchen. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, but not as inviting as the host. If you haven't been there yet, go soon. Get some gyoza and some red curry. You'll be glad you did.
