Great small diner in TN, local great food with awesome service. The chips and salsa were amazing crunchy and warm. I ordered a platter with a tamale, burrito and enchilada. They had mole sauce on them. There was plenty of seasoning in the meat. Very flavorful. The horchata was light, refreshing and came in a humongous mug. What a great experience dining in a different city at a local establishment.
The food here was classic Mexican fare, Good, but not the best I have tried in this area. The salsa was thin and in my opinion a bit blah. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice classic Mexican.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. I had the steak tacos 12/16/21 the following morning I had severe stomach pain and vomiting, fever. All of the symptoms of food poisoning, which I've had before.

Walk inside a party any day of the week. El Mezcal in Knoxville is bright, colorful, clean, and filled with great music and staff. You feel like you are coming home because you are waited on immediately and the staff is so wonderfully attentive. Now let's talk about really good Mexican food. You can't go wrong with any of the menu choices. My date couldn't wait to order the steak and chicken fajitas ~ he loves the sound of the sizzle and how the steam carries the amazing aromas. Me, I chose the carnitas ~ OMG!!! I could eat this dish forever. You guys have to go try this place out. Sooooo delicious! I want to take the chef home with me.
One of my favorite Mexican Resteraunts. Food is always good, and portions are large for the price. Great place for a tall cerveza and a nachos fajitas after a hard day of work.
Was just passing through and found this place..was very good with a surprisingly big menu. Monday and Tuesday all day is happy hour. Will come back when in the area
