Wow! Great food and great customer service at the bar. Margaritas were on point!
Went with large group. The person who was supposed to have made the reservation didn't. The manager was very good and accommodated us. Food was very good, service great. Drinks refreshing. Loved the plantains. Had Carne asada all the food was very tasty.
They've just remodeled the location on Hardin valley road. It was alright, the wait staff almost seemed annoyed we were there. They stood at the newly enlarged bar area for a while before ever venturing to our table. The food was good as usual.
This place is delicious! Has the best arroz con pollo! Jesus (Papi) is an awesome server, great worker, and makes the best drinks! You won’t be disappointed!
As a native Texan ... I 1000% approve of this restaurant!Let's talk about the humble rice, usually at most Mexican restaurants the rice is over cooked and hard. When I find a place that makes the rice flavorful and tender, that is a MAJOR indicator the rest of the food will taste fantastic!The hubby had the Enchiladas Verdes and he felt it had that "homemade" essence. I had the "Cancun Enchiladas" where I discovered how dedication was given to the humble rice and beans. The enchiladas were well cooked and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. I decided to be adventurous and try the jalapeno margarita and I absolutely loved it. For all of you who aren't about that spice, this margarita will give you some street cred with the "spice life" crew .If it isn't too obvious, we'll absolutely be coming back here again and again
Amazing service! Staff is very kind and attentive. Some of the BEST Mexican food in the area, delicious and some of the most authentic we have tried while we stayed in the area. Highly recommend, and can't wait to be back again our next visit.
I really like going to Don Gallo. They have all the basics (nachos, enchiladas, tacos, etc) and great margaritas. I only do not give 5 stars because I feel like the cost of the food is a little high and probably due to it being located on HV.

This place has some of the best Carnitas and Chile Verde and their chips are so light and delicious with their tasty salsa that comes in a little decanter. Ask for their extra spicy salsa, it's really good! Shout out to our server, Jesus who always takes great care of us!
This time was much better. Great food and great drinks. Perhaps it pays to come on a Tuesday - but it was full.
