My order was canceled tonight. And I could not be given any reason. I order approx 10:40 pm. The lady called me 3x at 11:05. I do not know why when I paid for everything online. I was unfortunately unloading my two disabled children. I started calling back at 11:08 and did not get through until 11:21. They could not give me any reason, and I asked could I speak to a manager. The gentleman he is just the delivery guy and hung up in my face. I cannot believe the customer service of this establishment. I will be placing a formal complaint with Domino's.
Tonight I placed an order at 6:17pm. At 7:35 I called the store and was told they only had one employee making pizzas and it would be another 30 minutes. At 8:40 I called yet again and was told it would be 20 more minutes. When I expressed my concerns, I was told there was nothing he could do about it as he was just a driver. I started to say something else and was interrupted. When I asked for the manager, I got hung up on. This is not the first time I have had this issue. I have complained about a very similar situation before, and few months ago, and the store manager reached out and apologized and mailed me a coupon for a free pizza. The manager seemed sincere which is why we tried them again... we will not be trying again.
I ordered from this location and the tracker stated that my order was delivered. It was not delivered to the correct hotel. When I called to receive a refund, I was told that the driver was new and that I could only get a store credit. Being from another state, I was not going to order from this store again nor in this state. I asked again for a full refund and told it was my “Fucking problem” and was hung up on. This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I do not recommend ordering from this location.
Whatever time estimate they tell you, double or triple it. I will not order from this location anymore. I don’t mind to wait, but at least tell me the correct time. This time I was told 25-30 minutes and it was over an hour. Last time we were told 1 hour and it was 2 and a half! Whether it’s delivery or takeout, they continually give reasonable time estimates, fail to meet the time, and neglect to tell us that it will be late. Not to mention the times we have complained to the store or corporate, nothing has ever been done. We will be going to Papa Murphy’s, Pizza Inn, or Papa Johns from now on.
My experience with this Domino's was awful. We ordered a pizza online last Friday an hour before closing. The pizza tracker showed that our order was in progress but never completed. Once it was closing time at 11, we called to ask if it was ready yet, but no one would answer no matter how many times we called. So basically, we paid for a pizza but never got one because of their incompetence. We tried going in to the store today and the lady was rude and dismissive. Once I get my money back, I will never be ordering from this location again.
Some kid named Austin thought it was OK to threaten my wife when she called in. Personally hoping he gets fired... won't order from here again since the manager DJ didn't even seem to care when both of us tried to report it. nasty people there.
I made the mistake of ordering from the Dominoes at 412 Merchants Dr in Knoxville TN tonight. My husband called this location after my order had been placed and not even made for over 1.5 hours. My husband initially called and theyd been on the phone 5 seconds and Austin was already keyed up to be rude, l and even after telling us it would be another 45 minutes, offered no solutions, and when my husband asked if he could get a discount for it being so late and if came and got it instead he refused and said that if they gave discounts to all their unhappy customers, that they'd be put of business by now. Which I definitely believe now! He hung up on my husband when he asked for a manager. So, I called. I asked for a manager and Austin immediately started dismissing me and everything I was asking about. He never stopped talking. When I finally got a word in edgewise, I told him I wanted to talk to a manager over the phone because I'd rather not come up there. He said it would be a long wait and I said, "Okay, I'll wait as long as it takes because I've been in this situation as the customer service person before and how you're treating me isn't customer service. This is not ok"... he then accused me of "abusing the staff" and that I best 'step down', when he'd barely allowed me to talk. So I once again asked to wait for the manager, DJ, btw, and told Austin he was being rude. He said he would not connect me to the manager and he hung up on me. I call back and get DJ on the phone, I immediately wanted my order canceled at this point, but he offered no customer service either! No apology for Austin's behavior, not about the pizza, or really anything. Just "okay. Got that canceled". I told him I want to submit a complaint, and briefly went over what happened... he said "I understand" and hung up on me. My husband then calls and asks for DJ, because now long story short, these, I'm assuming high schools kids running the store, are being rude and cussing on the phone with us and both my husband and I have worked for pizza places- as drivers and pizza artists. We both currently work in a service industry, so we get it can be stressful but to completely dismiss and and be the level of rude they were- isn't okay. We are still people, not just order numbers. So my husband calls and talks to DJ, he said he didn't have to give him the regional managers name and he was wasting his time and hung up on him. I'm shocked at the level of rudeness we got tonight. I dont think I've ever been to a restaurant that has had employees that rude in my life. We have 4 kids hungry and we called in good spirits and even tried to make concessions and were treated like trash. I'm really disappointed in Dominoes right now and so angry I probably won't ever go back unless I don't have a choice. Whoever hired these people really didn't screen for Austin's temperament at all. That kid has anger issues and maybe issues with women in general because before he knew he'd even spoken to my husband, he treated my complaint and talked to me in such a disrespectful way, right off the bat. Telling me to "step down"? I would not feel safe dealing with these types of people again.... DJ was rude and you can tell he really doesn't care at all about his job. Estimated 30 minute wait with a text giving a time range. Order is actually taking 1 hour. Waiting an hour is no problem but the app and text being misleading and forcing me to sit in my car for a half hour waiting in the winter in Tennessee wasting my gas. Not happy with the app so far. I now have the free pizza. Still waiting 7 minutes after ready was hit. This is craziness. Ordered at 6:08. Supposed to be around 30 minutes. I just got my food at 7:09.
They usually get my order right but mess my boyfriend's up every time he orders. But my food airways comes exactly how I like it shows I always have nice delivery ppl. My favorite is the steak and cheese pizza with garlic parmesan.
