This was a pleasant surprise!Corner 16 on Middlebrook continues to impress me with their customer service and delicious food. They are very accommodating! I asked for the chicken salad sandwich with lettuce instead of a bun. And they delivered! It tastes phenomenal! The outdoor seating is very nice for parents who have little busy bodies! You can sit outside and have a gated area for your children to walk around if they become restless. There is also corn hole to keep you occupied while you wait.I tried something new and was thankfully not disappointed! Our server suggested the chicken BLT sandwich and it did not disappoint. Our server was kind and professional. We all enjoyed our food!Great spot for either a family outting or date night.
Celebration time for a great meal.We sat at a high top in the bar about 80 minutes before closing at 10pm.The waitress was friendly and answered our drink and food questionsWe ordered a cup of brisket and barely soup to start and them chicken and dumplings and pork chops with worchestire butter and a side of mushrooms. My whole trip across 3 states the food has been lacking and tonight we found a great meal. The soup was full of flavor, (doesn't need anymore salt.) And the chicken and dumplings were in a perfectly balanced gravy with very tender chicken. The dumplings were amazing taste and texture ( we wanted more than 2 though)The super star was the pork chops juicy and seasoned well with that great butter. The mushrooms were the perfect partner. We were even able to catch a beautiful sunset on the back deck where they have a bar and corn hole.If in TN again we would definitely eat here.Thank you. Thank you.
Stopped in for lunch and had the chicken BLT, which was delicious. The manager, Mike, was very helpful and ensured our party had everything we needed- from seating to food. He was great to work with (we had a large party). Will be back!
We are local and frequent Corner 16. I need to praise our server, Lauren. She was so very attentive. Sweet personality. We will ask to be seated in her section from here on out. The management is attentive as well. The manager is always circulating checking on his guests. There is an outdoor area that we enjoy as well. Covered with ceiling fans and a lay area for children near the outdoor dining so that adults can sit in shade at their table while still watching the kids. My reason for 4 out of 5 stars is my meal this time. You can order a burger (great burger) then for a slight additional charge add side toppings. I should have known better, but I requested pimento cheese as a topping. What a mess it was! Pimento cheese completely melts into a liquid mess when heated. I had to totally deconstruct my burger and eat it with a knife and fork. While the taste was good, it was not the burger experience I was hoping for. I did mention it to the manager when he stopped by, but it seems that they know this happens. Shouldn’t be a topping or maybe served cold n the side. Anyway. We will go back for sure.
The food and service was awesome. Amy was a great server. The pork chop is the best I’ve ever had in my life. I will definitely be back again.
5/5! this place is wonderful. great food and always impeccable service. the atmosphere is relaxing and casual. there is a great outdoor area which is not common in this area.
First off our server, Makayla, was super attentive, kind and not too bad to look at either. Food was delicious as well. We ordered the bacon wrapped burnt ends as an appetizer and dang it was good! For an entree I had the rocky top jot brown and it was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service- Grace- knowledgeable of menu and attentive . Often came to see if we needed anything. Will certainly come again. Friendly atmosphere.
Came here for dinner with family, had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind.
So I got the grilled ale chicken about 10 minutes ago…finished it about 8 minutes ago and I’m still sitting at the table starving. Wasn’t even that hungry when I came in.Unfortunately I did not put silverware on the plate for scale but the chicken is paper thin, maybe 6oz, and that’s maybe 1/2cup of rice/quinoa…for $15. I could easily eat that plate 2 more times and only be comfortably full.If I order a dinner entree I generally expect more food than you would find in a kids meal. I mean if NOTHING ELSE double down on the rice and quinoa since it costs the restaurant virtually nothing.Food was alright but don’t go if you’re hungry and wanna pay dinner price for kids meal portions
