Probably my new favorite Thai place. The meal was very filling and tasted excellent. I personally would put it over taste of Thai but you can’t go wrong with either restaurant. The sushi here was also very good but I didn’t get a picture.

We loved our dinner here! The service was fast and so friendly, food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the pad see ew and the Thai fried rice), and the prices very reasonable. Our waitress went out of her way to be sweet to our preschooler, and was really helpful with our food selections. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely unreal sweet and sour chicken. It really hit the spot. If you like spicier food, be sure to ask for a higher number than you usually would!

Worst experience ever. Been coming here for three years. Today I was asked to leave because I ordered my food ahead of time to go. There were twenty open tables. I asked if I could sit at one and the hostess said no because I “order takeout”. Now sitting in my car in a 15 minute parking spot trying to eat soup and rice and not sill it all over my car. Get over yourself

The food is great, don’t get me wrong on that, but they have shady workers there. Went there the other day after a horrible day to get sushi, made my bill an even bill, but checked my bank account and they changed the tip to more.

The food at Chaiyo is decent but not the best Thai in town. We've eaten at Chaiyo off and on for several years. I recommend going here for lunch (if you can find parking) because the prices for their lunch menu are much more reasonable than their dinners. They've also raised prices in general lately though.Well I haven't ordered their sushi, on the Thai side of their menu there's really not a bad item. Their curries and drunken noodles are flavourful and all of vegetables are usually pretty crisp. Any of their entrees can be made with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, or tofu so they are definitely vegetarian friendly. Also, their 0 to 10 heat index is definitely accurate -- for me, spicy starts around a 6 or 7, while a 9 or 10 can leave you sweaty. If eating in the restaurant for lunch, their service is typically attentive so it does make for a good location near the UT campus for a quick lunch. If you order take-out from Chaiyo, *make sure they've given you everything you've ordered* - as I found at tonight (2/19/22), if they forgot to include something in your bag and you don't discover it until you're home, they won't issue a refund (unless you return to the restaurant which, seriously, how much of a pain in the butt can they make it?).

Great place for a quick bite to eat with a large menu selection. The sushi was good, and the entree servings were plenty large enough.

This was my first time trying curry and the Panang Curry didn’t disappoint! The service was quick and the location is perfect if you’re coming or going to a UT football game.

I went there at like 1pm and it was packed. It is probably a rush hour for them, but despite of that everything was fast, service and food. I ordered a sweet and sour which was excellent. The only thing that I didn’t like is finding a parking at this place. I don’t know why there are so many cars there, but it was a challenge.

We walked over after the UT football game and as expected, it was crowded and a little crazy. The staff did a great job managing this and we were seated after a short wait. Our entrees were amazing. We had Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and Pad Prik Khaeng. All we delicious, perfectly spiced and believe me, a lot of food. The only average thing we had were the dumplings but since everything else was great, I have to give them 5 stars.
