The black and red haired girl with a lip piercing is very rude. I ordered a 10 piece meal and she repeated back a 10 piece meal then I got a 2 piece meal and realized that was also on the receipt and I went back up and addressed the issue to her and she said in a very snippy high pitched tone well I heard 2 and I said it sounded like you said 10 piece when I asked you to repeat the total and ticket items and she talked while walking away from me then a manager refunded it and fixed the issue for me. (they said the refund would show up in a day or so so we will see) I also asked for a copy of both receipts and they could only give me the corrected one so hopefully they haven't jipped my money. Then we waited a half hour for the correct order and asked for lemons to squeeze on the fish which we waited another 5 minutes for.

I used to really like this place a lot but it has went way down hill. I have now been there three times and they have got my order wrong each time, the last two times they just forgot some items which I let go no big deal. Today they completely got half my order right and the other half 100% wrong I don't understand how you could screw up so bad!!! And I have no idea if it's the back that screwing up or the front but either way it's ridiculous.

Here at Captain Ds on chapman is under new management. Please stop by and check it out. Place is being remodeled with new and updated fixtures. Just be patient with the employees. They are short staff and really trying to ensure food quality and customer service issues. So stop by and say hi to Charles, Amber, Spencer and Shannon the management team.

Only one woman in there and she was taking care of inside costumes and drive through. Took a while to get food. Hopefully they will hire someone else to help her. But I love the food there.

Wish I could give it zero stars. We waited for almost 30 minutes. Then when we got to the window, we asked for extra tartar sauce and were denied. Had to argue back for them. We purchased two combo meals (6 pieces of fish) and received ZERO hushpuppies, even though we specifically ordered them. Ridiculous

Food was hot and delicious. Reasonably priced. Very friendly service.

Captain D's has always been great. Great food, great service, great portions for the money. The Doordash app that I used to make a pickup order, not so much.

I went this morning to pick my mom up some lunch and this was one of my worst experiences in Knoxville. 1. I placed my order 2. After taking my money I was asked to pull up because the oil was getting ready. 4. No receipt was given 3. After waiting 10-15 minutes I went inside and asked for my money back.4. Manager didn't have his key 5. They didn't know my order number 6. How am I supposed to know my number? Manager still couldn't refund my food because he was lost and confused 7. He told me he forget to turn on the fryers. 8. During all this the food still wasn't doneHE HAD 1 JOB!SO they took my money knowing that I would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes on my food and failed to tell me. Then he was unable to refund my money. My time is precious! I will get my money back even if I have to call my bank.

Staff doesn't want to serve grilled white fish. They ask every visit to substitute or wait until they thaw it. The last two visits there was no slaw & we had to wait until it was made. The last visit (12-1) took 45 minutes to prepare 2 orders of grilled white fish, slaw & fries.The staff rarely gets any order correct wrong orders given to customers & items left off to-go orders. Good food but staff needs suoervising/training.

Food was cold, half size portions and didn’t receive all of my order.
