For the price, you won't beat it. Always great service and good food. Even when there's a mixup, they'll fix it.
8402 Kingston Pike. Ticket CNT44. Today at Buddy’s our lunch left a lot to be desired. They had no lettuce. Who runs out of lettuce? WalMart is across the street. Go buy a head of lettuce. The tomato on the turkey sandwich was so green it was crunchy. I know you can buy better tomatoes. This is July and we live in tomato country. I would be embarrassed to serve those. The chocolate shake was awful. I dumped it out and got some water. Come-on manager. Start managing.
Great value and tasty bbq but they always seem to forget something with our takeout orders.
Went through drive through so I do not know what it was like inside. I was disappointed with the ribs and meal. I haven't bought food from this location for a while and was craving it...so my expectations were higher than what I got when I ate my meal. Even my corn was hard on one end. *sigh*
Ordered to go at window. Got home 5 miles away and order was missing hush puppies and sauce, which goes with BBQ dinner, which way way dissapointed my lady. Also no receipt. Hey Buddy's....train your people. I'm guessing that they found a small bag at window that the young attendant failed to give me. Give everyone a receipt. Answer your phone ?
This location has consistently (4/5 times) given cold food that appeared to be from the day prior, my relatives kept ordering from them each time they would visit me. We are no longer going to be ordering from here ever again. Do not do the online carry out option as they feel that it's okay to sell food that should have been trashed the day prior. Never went inside this joint so maybe the food and service are great for dine in.
We are Texas transplants and Buddy's is the best tasting and by far the best value for BBQ in East Tennessee. Ribs (and other offerings) are worthy. Wish they sliced their onions though instead of chopping them :-)
Great Wednesday $1 hit fudge brownie..can't get any better
The food is great, staff always working hard.The wait time in the drive through is randomized though. There is a little wheel in the back they spin to see how long to wait before handing the food through the window. I've ordered an entire dinner for 7 and was in and out under five minutes. But I watched a guy get one small bag and I kid you not it took 30 minutes. It seems like a fun game, like something you'd see on The Price is Right. I can hear Bob Barker now telling me how sorry he is that I have to wait 20 minutes for my French fries and sweet tea. I don't care for Drew Carey. He was funny and his own show, but I guess I just missed Bob Barker. Bob Barker is in heaven right now spay and neutering everyone's cats. Bless
It's okay!! Ribs weren't bad. But weren't great! Cole slaw was sweet and liquidy to the point it makes ya gag. Bathrooms are trap house esque. Sauce is sauce as you would expect at your drunk neighbors BBQ. It's a fast food BBQ joint. You'll get your food quick but don't expect it to be anything except thrown together, mass produced,, and speed prepped by minimum wage or equivalent persons who really dont care or respect BBQ. I won't be back. 2 stars only because ribs weren't dry.
