My wife and I were in Knoxville recently and we had a pizza from Brenz delivered to our hotel. The pizza was hot and fresh and we enjoyed it very much. The service was friendly and delivery time was quick. If you're in the downtown area and are looking for a good pizza then give them a try.
I have never eaten a Brenz pizza and was looking forward to it. However, the pizza was not made properly as ordered even though we were charged extra for the ingredients we ordered; the dough was one of the worst I have had (a frozen pizza crust is better) it was undercooked; there was no flavor really to the pizza, and the website extols that it will bring the pizza to your vehicle or deliver it wherever you want, yet, when we arrived, we called and they told us to come inside to pick up the pizza. So, I award 1 star for the pizza, 1 star for customer service. There are many places in town to order a good pizza. Brenz is not one of them.
We were in town to visit the University of Tennessee. After our morning tour, we wanted a quick bite. This was exactly what we were looking for. Delicious pizza made to order. You place your order at the counter and they bring the pizza out to you. Self service drinks. Would definitely recommend and visit again if we’re back in town.
First time trying, will not be the last, blows the big chains out the water.Yall, I ate 2 slices and I'm nearly full, powered through a third, the other half will have to wait I guess...this last piece is gonna make me burst.
It was really good. Had the loaded pepperoni pizza was a bit spicy, got it without the red peppers the second time and it was perfect! Overall really good. Cheesy Bread was really good too! But the pizza has been on my mind since i finished my last slice!
Ordered a few pizzas and a dessert last night. Was told it would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. I arrived promptly at the 30 minute mark only to discover that the pizza hadn't been started yet. I was told it would be another 15 minutes or so. I ended up waiting for over 1 hour for pizza that wasn't nearly worth that kind of commitment. I complained quietly to the front desk worker and the manager. No steps were taken to remedy the situation. In fact, all I got for my trouble was the omission of icing from my dessert.
So we ordered through Door Dash. They forgot to make our pizza and send our pizza. And the 6 piece wings came with only five wings. Plus the wings did not appear to be cooked all the way through. Do not recommend ordering from this restaurant!
Great pizza! Didn't wait long, but UT is out on break. That said, I would absolutely wait over 30 minutes for it if I had too. Employees were also super friendly.
I don't have much bad to say about Brenz. The person who owns the building however, is a certified crook. For the past year people have been parking around back to pick up their carry out orders. Last night there was an unofficial looking guy putting boots on anyone's car that came through and charging them $70 to remove it. This was in accordance with the man who owns the property. The guy is a short chubby waste of space and should find a real job instead of preying on innocent people just trying to get a meal. There is no signage saying not to park in this area. Which makes what he is doing illegal, according to campus authorities. I have also forwarded this same text to WBIR and they seemed interested in finding our who both of these crooks are.They are effecting the business and potential income of the establishments by claiming they are there for Brenz Pizza and Chipotle. After speaking with managers at both establishments they noted that they have received a plethora of complaints on the matter.I for one will not have any further business with the two restaurants until a notable change is made.
Ordered from DoorDash but wanted to review here as well.. soo good! Ordered the ATM pizza, crust was great and had plenty of good toppings. Would order again. The house salad and ranch was super good and fresh as well. Will definitely be ordering from Brenz more often! Great pizza, and was made quickly.
