Enjoyed dinner here. The food was good. I had the seasonal special, Rockefeller Butterfish (Alaskan Sablefish (aka Black Cod) ). The fish itself was super mild tasting. Really enjoyed the creamy spinach on top. Had Jasmine Rice added as a side, it was clumpy and overly sticky and the lime taste was a bit overpowering. Looked like it was supposed to be a cilantro lime rice? Wish it was better. All the desserts were great! Can't go wrong with either of them. We had 1 of each and shared among our group. Our server Jace was perfect! Super helpful and attentive.
We have visited this place several times. Food is always good and staff are very friendly. The times we have stopped in the wait has never been bad. I believe everyone's favorite is the Bang Bang Shrimp.
My 85-year old mother decided she wanted to go out for a quick bite. We went to Bonefish to get Bang Bang Shrimp and dessert. It was 8:15 and the restaurant was empty except for one other table snd two people in the bar area. We ordered our appetizers and drinks. Our waitress Gracie brought our food. My mom did have to wait to start eating her soup because her spoon was dirty, but no problem. I simply waited until our waitress Gracie came back from clearing off another table outside. She was pleasant. Food was good. We ordered dessert. While waiting, all the lights came on and the music stopped. We realized it was 9:00. Gracie brought us our dessert along with the check, but said “no rush.” She came back a minute later, but my mom had not gotten her credit card out yet. She walked away. After that, Nicole, the manager, came over and asked for payment so she could close out the ticket. She said her staff had been there “all day” and she needed to let them go home. Keep in mind that we had just gotten our dessert and the ticket. At that point, I told her in a QUIET voice that she was being rude. She then proceeds to say that we knew they closed at 9:00. I’m not sure why she decided she knew what we were thinking. I told her that maybe she should close the doors at 8:00 and then give the customers time to finish eating by 9:00. She told me to “tell that to Corporate.” I, again, told her that she was being very rude. Then she informs me that our waitress said that we had been rude to her “all night.” We were flabbergasted! What had we done? All we did was ASK POLITELY for a clean spoon. My mother’s spoon was obviously dirty. What else were we supposed to do? Eat with a dirty spoon??? That is HONESTLY the only thing that happened until the clock struck 9:00. We didn’t say anything or complain about anything until they started being rude. The manager was disillusioned, or maybe they were both lying to get us out of there. My mother then told her that we had NEVER been treated so rudely at any restaurant, anywhere, in Knoxville or Atlanta (that’s where I live now.). Nicole, the MANAGER, then said to her, “that’s hard to believe!” I ended up telling my mom that we needed to go … they were both acting crazy. I wadded up the ticket where we had left Gracie a nice tip and my mother signed the duplicate ticket do we could pay for our food and get out of there. I then heard the manager at the kitchen telling the waitress that we were probably not going to leave her a tip so she should probably just “go ahead and close out.” I responded that she was right because if she said we had been rude to her, she had clearly lied. As we were leaving, the manager starts saying, “Have a nice night!” I told her that she had ruined our evening. I grew up in Knoxville. I still have family and friends in Knoxville. We have been to Bonefish in other cities. I have always had a good experience, until tonight. I will NEVER step foot in another Bonefish restaurant, nor any other restaurant that this “Corporate” owns. I’m sure Nicole and Gracie will be relieved. Mission accomplished. (I usually don’t leave reviews, good or bad, but I could not keep quiet about this.)
Sat with Misty yesterday did not enjoy our experience. We ordered calamari and weren't given any plates to eat with. Seemed to take abnormally long to get back to our table with only six tables in the entire restaurant. I ordered the Butterfish special with "Lump" crab over creamed spinach. The fish was nice but what crab? It looked like bits of tuna. I was given green beans even though I didn't order them. On top of it all wake up today to find out my fiance slept in the bathroom last night, vomiting and ill from Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. I will spend my money else where! Sad because Bryan H was always great to us!
Sea food is always pricey so you would expect the menu, flavor and service to be 5 star. This Bonefish location did not disappoint. Never has. I am so sure of the quality I often give gift cards as gifts or rewards. I always get response of gratitude for my choice of gift.
It was damn good. They sat us in the bar area because we weren't fancy. But the food and beer were great, will definitely be back for the amazing coleslaw. I guarantee I tipped better than the stuck up rich acting people in the dining room.
We got an anniversary gift of a gift card and we used it here at Bonefish Grill! Great food and lovely atmosphere! Bang Bang Shrimp is the bomb! And pork Chop was SO TENDER and DELICIOUS! Great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and happy we included our baby girl!
Our first time at Bonefish Grill. David was our waiter and absolutely the best waiter we have had anywhere hands down. Our drinks stayed full, the food was fresh, and delicious. Will definitely go back and be asking for David!
It was very delicious and the customer service was awesome ? we loved all of it but our favorite was the bang bang shrimp ? yummy!
As always was terrific. I love they offer daily specials. I had the buttery fish plate with lump crab on top. Had a terrific virgin mojito. The original bang bang ?!!!
