We decided to have lunch downtown Knoxville and decided to try the Blackhorse out. We are glad that we did. The service at the bar and the food were very good. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop in. Enjoy!

The pizza was good, but not for the price. $20 for a 12" is an absurd price:size ratio. I really enjoyed the pizza, no joke it was delicious. The food and drinks were expensive for the portions. The pimento cheese came with more cheese then bread chips, so you have to order more. And without missing a beat the waitress told me it would be a $2 charge. Which suggests that other people have had this issue too, since she didn't need to ask a someone about supplementing an appetizer with more bread. Suggesting that management had decided that the smaller portion would be alright since customers would just pay for the extra bread so they didn't waste the pimento cheese (which was also delicious). That feels like a scam to me and the portions, not the quality is driving this review to 3/5 instead of 5/5. The drinks were so-so for the price.Edit: thank you for the response.

Stopped here on our way through Tennessee. The brewery is located on a cute little street with lots of shops around. The food was very good (I recommend the brussel sprout appetizer!) and the beers were tasty, just not very unique. Overall I think it's worth stopping in if you're in the area.

Great service lots of your people cool vibe food was flavorful and beer was amazing n I don't even particularly like beer

Beers are decent, I had their IPA and Lager. Nothing special but very drinkable. I ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, I did not realize it would be 3 giant pretzels… way too much for one person, and they were not anything special, clearly pre-made from a bag. But they were hot and a great value.

I’ve been to this location a couple times and the location in Alcoa a few times. Plenty of good menu items but I always end up getting the Tunisian Pizza. I absolutely love it. They had a seasonal beer - The Raspberry Cream Ale - I really hope they bring that one back it’s something to write home about.Downtown location doesn’t have outdoor seating. I’m pretty sure the Alcoa location has outdoor seating

good food and good atmosphere.

The beer cheese with chips is AMAZING! I loved it! It’s the thin chips also which I love. The fried green tomatoes are pretty impressive as well. Pizza is decent. I would come back just for that cheese & chips appetizer.

Great Burger!!! Friendly staff great service
