Big Kahuna Wings - West Town in Knoxville is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful wings and much more. I really like the location and relaxed atmosphere that they have available here. I have been impressed with their level of customer service and everything that they offer here.

I went to BKW for the first time the other day with my sister. Let me tell you, it started off not great but I will be a repeat customer again and again…let me tell you why. When we first arrived we were being helped by a newer employee that definitely had some issues, like probably isn’t cut out for serving type issues. My sister and I are both used to working in the service industry so we tried letting it go but this girl was just miserable…to the point we were uncomfortable. On top of poor service and errors, she had a horrible attitude that made us feel guilty for just being there. We saw another waitress and asked her to come over and requested a manager. (We hate complaining so this was not fun for us). This server (Kayla) was AMAZING. She immediately jumped in, said she would take over and let management know. She fixed everything that was wrong and made us feel so much better. The manager (Tyler) came out and went above and beyond to make sure we were okay… like I’m telling you…these people CARED. The bartender (Madison) even came out and checked on us…we had ordered drinks with our food.Oh and the food…it was to die for! The chef that day (Daryl) did an amazing job, which was such a relief. It might not seem like much to some, but the way this crew handled this situation was really appreciated. I have a new baby and never go out, so them turning a bad experience into a fantastic one really made my day.I highly recommend this place and will be returning as soon as possible. Thank you Kayla, Tyler, Madison, and Daryl! (I hope I spelled all the names right!)

It was a good place to go with old friends to catch up on times. This was my first time there and I have to say I enjoyed the atmosphere and food quite a lot. They have a good variety of options to choose from without being overwhelmed. Their fries are out of this world. I only gave a four star on the basis that the menu is a little pricey. Some of the appetizers cost about as much as I would expect to pay for my meal. Over all to sum it up I would definitely give this place a go.

We had the Kahuna Pig Fries that came with a homemade garlic sour cream (pretty good). They were covered in cheese, BBQ pork, and chives. Delicious. We also had the 25 traditional wings with fire seasoning. The fire seasoning isn't that hot, just leaves some tingle, which is fantastic! The dipping sauce selection is substantial! We had the jalapeño ranch, sweet chili lime, bacon ranch, hot honey, and original. They were great. My favorite was the hot honey and my wife's was the original. The wings were juicy and well cooked! Love it! TVs on the walls were great for watching the game. We'll be back!

The chicken or wings are always cooked to perfection and I like both the original and spicy rubs. They have a lot of sauce choices but I find most of them to be a bit odd. Creamy when I wouldn’t expect them to be and some of the flavors are weird but there are enough choices to find at least a couple you would like. I like the spicy kale coleslaw and the fries, the rest of the sides are just meh. The Mac and cheese is just a mess, the cheese sauce is watery and doesn’t stick to the pasta shells at all. It really should be called a soup and served with a spoon except there is no cheese flavor. Asked the manager if it is really supposed to be that way and was told yes, although it is sometimes a bit thicker. The service and decor are both good. The atmosphere is very loud, so be prepared to shout your order to your server.

Great food and the owners care about our community and support local business. The atmosphere is great as well. If you have never been, you are missing out

Excellent experience and fun times!!

It was recommended to me by a friend, whose opinion on food I respect, and I was not disappointed. We got 2lbs of the Big Kahuna Wings and a flight of sauces. The original was the best! Pricing is fair and the food is excellent. If you don't like food too salty, ask for a light rub on the wings. It did end up being a bit salty by the end of it. We will be back!

Enjoyed one of their bourbon flights (they have several to choose from or you can create your own). Ordered 12 boneless wings with spicy garlic and hot honey sauces. They have a variety of sauces to choose from for dipping, depending on your taste preferences. Offering salads, sliders, burgers, fries loaded any way you want, and multiple options for wings.

Great food and great service. The wings have an amazing homemade seasonings and the sauces are phenomenal. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants now. I would definitely recommend the pig fries as well.
