My family visits this location most Fridays. The staff is great, the food is always great and comes out in a timely manner, the manager is extremely personable and attentive. The cauliflower wings and loaded fries are our goto for appetizers. The traditional wings are great with the sauce on the side, I actually prefer this. We definitely recommend.
Had a wonderful meal again. This time for lunch and it was fantastic. The food is always so so good and the service is top notch as well. This time the manager stopped by to say hello and see how we were doing and he was super polite and asked us if we needed anything at all to let him know. Such great service and food at this location. I will keep coming back. I love it.
It took us a long time to decide to try Big Kahuna Wings. We regret that wait. Staff is top knotch, always friendly and knowledgeable. Food is fantastic. You cannot order anything that's "just okay" from BKW whether it is their starters, loaded fries, wings, salads, sandwiches, or desserts. Current favorite is traditional wings with original seasoning and Hot Honey sauce and the chocolate ganache brownie. They are working on an expansion so pardon the construction. Just know that it will be worth the wait.
The chicken or wings are always cooked to perfection and I like both the original and spicy rubs. They have a lot of sauce choices but I find most of them to be a bit odd. Creamy when I wouldn’t expect them to be and some of the flavors are weird but there are enough choices to find at least a couple you would like. I like the spicy kale coleslaw and the fries, the rest of the sides are just meh. The Mac and cheese is just a mess, the cheese sauce is watery and doesn’t stick to the pasta shells at all. It really should be called a soup and served with a spoon except there is no cheese flavor. Asked the manager if it is really supposed to be that way and was told yes, although it is sometimes a bit thicker. The service and decor are both good. The atmosphere is very loud, so be prepared to shout your order to your server.
Very friendly staff and the pace was packed for a lunch time which is good news for a local restaurant. Kind of pricey for the wings for what you get but very tasty.
There are no better wings in Tennessee. We love extra crispy. Original rub original sauce. Potato chips with spicy ranch. Great service. Unbeatable. Exceptional quality. Highly recommended.
I'm not a wing guy. That being said, I had the pulled pork plate and it was so so....they use way to much seasoning on their fries and chips. Super salty!I know a lot of people who really like this place. Just not somewhere I would choose to go. Met friends for dinner.
Like my son said "is like coming to a goodfriend's house "We arrived past 9pm on Saturday and it wasn't busy, from the moment we stepped in we were greeted as we now each other for a long time.Our waitress Lauren was wonderful, so helpful with the suggestions, we are glad we took her advice, the food was so delicious, very tasty, fresh, the place is inviting. Highly recommended. Unfortunately they don't open on Sundays so we will be back next time we visit Knoxville Tennessee. Thank you again for such wonderful experience.
Get the wings, they were pretty good. In fairness, if we had just ordered wings 4/5. However, we ordered the menu to go. We live in a west Farragut neighborhood, 4 minutes from here. The order was picked up RIGHT as it was done. By the time we got home, I plopped it on the table, and the family had opened it:The fries were all luke warm, COMICALLY oversalted, and mushy.The 3 different burgers were all cooked incorrectly compared to the order. I.e. medium was well done, well done was medium rare, etc. The burgers were also pressed onto the grill by an amateur cook and all the juice was gone; totally dry.5 types of wings ranged from average to excellent.If you want heat, they have it. So that's a plus. But I would expect my food to still be "very warm" by the time I walk to the car and drive 4 minutes. Bagged to unbagged and eating in about 7 minutes. It was just cold to warm across the board.For the covid conscious, this place is jammed full shoulder to shoulder and no masks in sight.
Best wings ever!!! Great service reasonable prices and wonderful atmosphere. More than wings on menu. Portions are good size. Will definitely return and refer to others.
